Jack Manly Men: Steve Cruz
Earlier we mentioned that we updated our Jack Manly Men section and added a Steve Cruz page to our roster of faves. Obviously our choices for this section are based on our initial personal preferences & tastes but we also give some considerable thought to choosing guys that will have "staying power"--for us and for the general gay porn-loving audience. We think it's safe to say that Steve Cruz falls into that category of an icon with this nebulous term "staying power".
The only drawback (if you can call it that) to choosing Steve Cruz as a "Jack Manly Man" is the maintenance. We just posted up the new page and it's almost guaranteed that we'll have to update that page within a week. We checked out Steve's blog earlier today and his "summer porn camp" experience is almost non-stop work. Come this fall, through the end of the year, and into next he'll have done two big films Focus/Refocus & Arabesque 2 (where he does double duty as performer & videographer) and he'll have launched his own online video website Hard Friction.
We can predict with almost complete certainty that Hard Friction is going to be huge. Steve Cruz & hubby Bruno Bond are co-producing & starring in it and they've cast some very hot guys to participate. Think about all the new stars that have come out of Steve's collaborations with Leif Gobo at Mustang and you'll have some idea of what's coming from Hard Friction. We can't wait.
Lastly, as we mentioned before Steve & many of his Raging Stallion & Mustang cohorts will be at the Folsom Street Fair which would account for the flurry of current activity taking place now. There's going to be a lot of news coming out of this event, some of which will be very big. We'll have more on all of it soon.
