Jack Manly Men: Michael Von Steel
We've been revising our Jack Manly Men section the past few days, updating the filmographies of our busy guys and adding adding two new pages spotlighting Michael Von Steel and Steve Cruz. Steve's page is an all-new addition to the site (more on him next time), while Michael Von Steel was one of our original "Jack Manly Men" when the section was only one page long. feature guys who are currently active we weren't about to unceremoniously discard Michael Von Steel. Active or not he remains one of our all-time favorites and he'll always have a place on our site.
Awhile back we inquired about Michael Von Steel and according to Jake Cruise the sexy & tall star dropped out of sight. We even made an open inquiry here to see if anyone could tell us what happened to the guy. We didn't expect much of a response because there frankly there have many guys who have come along to keep fans pre-occupied since Von Steel's departure from the scene. It's pretty much the "out of sight, out of mind" syndrome. That said, we still hold out hope that there will be some word or that Michael Von Steel will pop up again.
One more thing. Even if Michael Von Steel doesn't show up again we've still got him in mind for our series of fantasy stunt-casting of porn stars as comic book super-heroes. Our favorite hero Superman has been the most difficult for us to "cast" mostly because he's so iconic that it's almost impossible to think of anyone in the biz that fits the bill. However, we do have a few guys in mind and as you might have guessed Von Steel is one of them. Sure he could be more bulked up and a little grooming but he does possess that certain something that says Superman. Michael Von Steel as the Man of Steel? Seems rather appropriate.
