Movers & Shakers: The Review
We enjoy a gay porn flick that has a few surprises in it. They don't have to be big twists or things like "Joe Blow Bottoms For The First Time!". Just a few unexpected or interesting developments is really all that's necessary to make a movie worth checking out and rewatching when we're in the mood. Such is the case with Movers & Shakers from Hot House.
Movers & Shakers uses the "sex on the job" theme as the basis for its four scenarios but don't be mislead by the title. It suggests suggests high-powered businessmen in the corporate world when in fact the movie features blue collar men in the moving & storage biz. Yes, the blue-collar theme has been used before but Movers & Shakers puts enough variations on the theme, injects some dialog & separate mini-plots, and features believable acting and hot performances.
We've mentioned & reviewed the first scene from Movers & Shakers here before but we wanted to include it in this review as a point of comparison. Berke Banks & Paul Wagner are cleaning out their offices, packing boxes when they reminisce about "old times"---in this case it's their past dalliances in the office. For "old times' sake" they have another session of mutual sucking and a good old fashioned ass-pounding over the desk. Ironically these two HAVE done it before when they did a scene for Sean Cody (as Berke & Barry) which turned out to be the last one both did for the site. As such the chemistry is still here and the two play the same role with Berke topping Paul. The only drawback to the scene is that Berke gets totally nude while Paul keeps on his tight Henley shirt, even while laying on his back & getting plowed.
Both guys are very hot to watch and they set the standard for the rest of the film.
In scene two Rod Daily & Kyle King play two guys on their last round of hauling & moving heavy stuff out of warehouse when their semi-twisted relationship reveals itself. Rod Daily is a jerk, ordering Kyle King around and King has just about had it. Nevertheless their "end of the work day" goes on with Kyle submitting to Rod's demand for a blowjob. As you might expect it includes Rod Daily topping Kyle King their "routine" takes a 180 degree turn when the two flip roles. We've seen this versatility in Rod Daily before but it was more interesting to see it in Kyle King. He's a gorgeous guy to watch no matter what he does but his aggressive manner here gave him more of an interesting edge. Once the hot sex is over stick around for a cute little twist to the set-up.
The third scene has a bit of a dirty sexy & nasty tone. Johnny Gunn is waiting for a couple of movers played by Beaux Banner & Dakota Rivers. When they show up late Rivers is not only unapologetic but also trying to screw Gunn over the money. Very matter of factly he offers up Beaux to Johnny to sweeten the deal. Of course a three-way develops with Beaux Banner as the very willing party favor. He's very good as the happy bottom and Dakota Rivers plays a very sexy asshole but we sure do have a thing for Johnny Gunn. He is a true presence on camera always fun to watch--hot body & a sexual dynamo.
In the last seen Vince Ferelli & Josh Griffin are a couple of muscle-headed crooks who find that the warehouse they were going to clean out of computers & stuff is empty. Ferelli was apparently the screw-up so he offers to make it up to Grffin by offering a blowjob. Griffin takes him up on the offer and tops Ferelli too. Vince Ferelli has certainly earned his popularity with scenes like this. He knows how to act and he has a very natural muscular appeal. For us it's always hot to see a masculine muscular bottom who enjoys it. Oh yeah, and this scene has a twist too, and a funny one at that.
Director Steven Scarborough really has nothing to prove in Movers & Shakers. He has already shown he can direct anything and make it all flow seamlessly. There's something to be said for a directing style that's consistently high quality without being flashy nor or needlessly distracting and Scarborough has that syle.
