Website Round-Up
Once again it's time for another look at what's been going on at several prominent online video sites. There are prominent new faces & some familiar faces, and it looks like several sites and performers are gearing up for busy fall season.
Next Door Studios passed along the word that they're wrapping up the biggest shoot in their history--THIRTY scenes that will be appearing on their various websites shortly. To emphasize how big this was Next Door let us know the stats for this extravaganza: 1200 behind-the-scenes photos, 900 scene photos, 90 condoms, 16 models, 8 cameras, 7 days, 6 cameramen and photographers, and 3 gallons of lube. Apparently they lost track of the other more graphic details and invited others to compile those statistics---if that's your idea of a good time.
While we're on the subject you might have noticed that Tommy D didn't have a new video posted at his website last week and there probably won't be a new one this week either. Faithful readers of Tommy's blog are aware of the reason. Tommy got a bad cold in the middle of summer & he developed bronchitis. Before he got some antibiotics into his system he was coughing so hard he pulled a back muscle! So he was out of commission for a few weeks, at least. Good news is that he's on the mend and was one of the performers who put in extra time in the aforementioned big shoot.
Super-hot Men Magazine cover model Spencer Reed and he "tweeted" earlier today that he's going to be busy too. He's got seven video shoots and two live appearances lined up for September. Plus he's been working out hard and posted some new pics at his blog of his bigger bod. YUM. And, as you recall he's done several hot videos at Next Door Studios with another one to be released this week at Next Door Buddies. His co-star for this one in blond Gavin and as you can see he's another familiar face. He first appeared at Frat Men and more recently appeared as Jason in four videos at Sean Cody.
Another Sean Cody alumnus Dakota showed up this week as Dru at Corbin Fisher. Dakota filmed six scenes at SC and was known as a "take control" guy ---even when he bottomed. So as a "Freshman" at CF it looks like he's going to have his share of interesting scenes---if he sticks around.
While we're on the subject of familiar faces & Next Door Studios there will be one popping up at Mason Wyler next week. He's Aryx Quinn and he used this name when he did wrestling videos--as far as we can tell mostly, if not all, for BGEast Video. However, you might recognize him more recently from Jake Cruise & Cocksure Men where he has appeared as Tristan Baldwin.
When we made last week's Cocky Boys video Jesse Santana & Wolf Hudson as "pick of the week" we neglected to mention that this marked Wolf Hudson's directorial debut for the site. We look forward to seeing how the "King of Kink" is going to add his special touch in future videos.
Lastly there are a few newcomers that have popped up recently that look promising:
On The Hunt introduced Adam last week in "Adam's Initiation" . It was meant to be a solo debut but director Jeremy Hall just couldn't resist lending a "helping hand". Can you blame him? Adam has a sexy lean muscle body, a little facial scruff and that undefinable quality that can make a star.
Even the most jaded size-queens will be impressed with a couple of guys that have appeared lately. Recently Man Avenue introduced Girth Brooks who may be relegated to solo flicks---we can't imagine many bottoms lining up to take on his monster. His porn name may aggravate those who are annoyed by such things, but it will be interesting to see if he makes it big--so to speak. Sean Cody has had its share of amply-endowed studs over the years and new guy Jacob has to rank up there near the top. Again, we'll see if the site will be able pair him up with any daring souls.
Then there are the Randy Blue newcomers that have appeared lately. You would think that the site had a special vending machine from which these guys just popped out. Dawson Riley, Cody Blackford, Forest Winters, & Eddie Renzo are just a handful of the guys that have been introduced at Randy Blue and given the track record of previous newbies it's likely you'll be seeing more of them here and in future movies.
