Shedding Light on DARK ROOM....
The newcomers: Tom Wolfe, Roman Wright & Draven Torres
Yes, it's another blog entry about Steve Cruz & Leif Gobo and their latest Mustang project which just wrapped, Dark Room. You might think that we devote an inordinate amount of space to the Cruz/Gobo projects and to Steve Cruz and you know what? You're right. It's simply because these two are doing some very interesting things together and they have given the gay porn industry a creative shot in the arm (more on other big productions next time). Obviously we're not alone in our opinion. Just ask Mustang. Or take a look at the blogs of the many hot guys that have appeared in the Cruz/Gobo productions. Which brings us to Dark Room.
Actually, before we get to the film we have tell you something that Steve Cruz cleared up on his blog. The team of Leif & Gobo is a true 50/50 collaboration and we didn't think we were giving enough credit to Leif Gobo so we'd like to rectify that right now. Talent obviously attracts talent as witnessed by these collaborations and the guys that have appeared and will appear in them.
As the title suggests Dark Room is a film with an edge. AND....apparently it's a kinky edge at that! Gobo & Cruz took comments and critiques from people and decided to go all out for this one. That said the
filmmakers didn't go the expected route by simply using leather harnesses and the like. They used MaleStockroom.com for the restraints and Slickitup.com for the wardrobe.
Once again Cruz & Gobo put together a cast of familiar faces and hot newcomers, created some
interesting match-ups and put them in interesting situations. Samuel Colt & Sean Everett from Randy Blue were paired up and on his blog Colt mentioned that "..you will all get to see a different side of Samuel Colt in this film.." According to Steve it involves chastity devices and metal toys. Speaking of Colt he has another project coming up that we'll tell you about very soon. Right now we'll let you know it's an x-rated comic book adaptation.
Samuel Colt's scene partner in Green Room Alessio Romero is paired with hairy-chested newcomer Tom Wolfe in a scene that Cruz says will "...blow your mind or your wad..." Johnny Gunn's first gang bang which includes a double penetration scene.
Also in the cast is Johnny Gunn (he gets his first onscreen gangbang), Tyler Saint, Steve Trevor, Derrek Diamond, Tristan Jaxx, Draven Torres, and Roman Wright. The newcomers is this latter group are Torres & Wright and they couldn't be more dissimilar. Draven Torres in a youngish tattooed dangerously sexy type. Roman Wright is more a dark & swarthy bear type. Given the track record of other former Gobo/Cruz newcomers looks like there will be more stars born in Dark Room. We'll have more soon on this sexy flick.
