AJ Irons vs Jason Crystal: Round 3
Thanks to even more appearances this past week our unofficial battle royale between Jason Crystal and AJ Irons as the most prolific "It" guy of 2009 has heated up again. Unfortunately for one of these guys there seems to be a growing backlash against his multiple appearances on all these website. Apparently according to some people in the industry and the press there IS a limit to spreading yourself around in porn.
Jason Crystal is the potential "it" guy in question who's getting the bad press (and who is technically slightly in the lead in our Jack Manly derby with AJ Irons). This current backlash seems to be more than just the number of appearances on many rival websites although some of these video sites, companies, and blogs think that's reason enough. Other blogs leads us to believe that the bigger factor is that he wasn't exactly upfront about all the various videos he had shot (including a Freshmen Magazine shoot). It may explain why other prolific "it" guys like Leo Giamani, Vince Ferelli, etc avoided the backlash before signing exclusive contracts---they probably were more open about their appearances. SO...to all you future "it" guys, you now know the possible pitfalls.
Of course we'll wait and see what comes out of all this and continue to keep our running tally for both Jason Crystal and AJ Irons. And as you see below we've added a few more details to the listing.
