Swimmer Splits Suit--Let The "Crack" Jokes Begin

                                                                                     PICK OF THE WEEK

US swimmer Ricky Berens probably never anticipated getting more publicity than Olympics champ Michael Phelps at the World Championships in Rome  but that's exactly what happened. Never mind that Phelps lost his first race in several years or had one of his world records broken by another swimmer. Ricky Berens managed to dominate the news cycle (sports & non-sports alike) with a pre-race "wardrobe malfunction"---he split his aerodynamic swimsuit right up the butt crack.

Berens was in the 4 X 100 relay and just before the race began he was doing his stretching exercises when the suit split open. Without a spare suit or time to change he swam his leg of the relay and  the suit open even more, but it didn't slow him down--he WON the gold medal for the US! Naturally photographers captured the swimming action AND the malfunctioning suit action for all to see. The sometimes clever headlines went as follows : Ricky Berens Splits Swimsuit, Bares Butt At World Championships; Swimmer Cracks Under Pressure As Bathing Suit Splits At World Championships; Ricky Berens, Splits Suit, Flashes World; and
Ricky Berens Brings A New Swimming Suit Style.

As you can see we found a few more photos to shed some more light on the subject--so to speak. As we looked at the pics we imagined that this whole scenario had the makings of a hot porn scene. Imagine the poor swimmer heading to the locker room and one of his horny teammates checking out the suit to see how bad the damage was. Then one thing would lead to another --like more swimsuit ripping and the horny teammate diving in for more action. Oh sure, we know nothing like this happened but it we can dream.
