Adult Stars As Super-Heroes: Wolverine

Bruno Bond Wolverine Arpad Miklos
We mentioned earlier in the week that in honor of the San Diego Comic Con this week we're going to have a little fun with super-hero movie casting. As we've seen, the choices made by mainstream Hollywood haven't always been satisfactory to comic book fans and sometimes they're just plain inaccurate. So we'd decided do our own fantasy casting using gay porn performers whether they're on websites or in studio productions. There will be some characters that many of you non-comic readers won't be aware of. There will also be mainstream actors who have already become firmly associated with certain heroes. Whatever the case, we welcome your suggestions and comments about our choices.
We decided to start things off with Wolverine. Until the X-Men movies were made the character was not exactly well-known but, as in comics, he became popular with movie audiences as a kind of anti-hero. Hugh Jackman got the character's personality down perfectly although in comics he's a lot shorter, hairier and more powerfully built. We start with Wolverine because of all the possibilities. There are several guys in gay porn who fit the bill either with their looks and onscreen personae and if we could combine them into one person we'd have the perfect casting.

Francois Sagat Josh West
One more thing before we get to the list. We've mentioned that Logan McCree is such a big Wolverine fan that he gave himself hero's alter ego for a first name. He embodies the spirit if not the true look of the character and he deserves an honorable mention.
Arpad Miklos. He definitely has the Wolverine build and hairiness along with that wry sarcastic look in his face. He'd have to shave some of his facial hair off and at the same time grow some substantial sideburns, but we could definitely see him in the role.
Bruno Bond. Bruno comes across as a very nice guy but he sure has the look, the build, and the stature. Plus he has the classic good looks you associate with super-heroes.
Steve Cruz. In terms of attitude & hairiness he's got the Wolverine thing down perfectly and probably isn't trying. Did we mention that Wolverine is only supposed to be 5' 3"? So those of who you might think Steve is too short should keep this in mind.

Steve Cruz Roman Ragazzi Zak Spears
Francois Sagat. As we've seen in his modeling gigs (primarily Slick it Up) he can really pull off the
costumed super-hero look. And he almost has the hair (if he grew it out) and sideburns. The only drawback? His accent.
Zak Spears. This total man has already shown that Wolverine persona is many films. Put a convincing hairpiece on him and he would be hard to beat.
Vince Ferelli. Ferelli can pull off the tough look, no problem. If he rouyghened up his look & grew out his whiskers & body hair he could be dead ringer.
Ross Hurston Collin O'Neal Vince Ferelli
The following guys come very close so we're giving them "understudy" status.
Ross Hurston. The classy Brit accent may kill his chances but he definitely get rough & tough depending on the role.
Collin O'Neal. He's got the hairy bod & muscles and an aggressive nature. If he just wasn't so sweet & sensitive looking!
Roman Ragazzi. Hairy & muscular he has a heroic look too. His accent could be a problem and he might have difficulty looking mean but he has the build.
Josh West. Josh has at times had the "killer instinct" look and has the aggressive sexual demeanor. Just a little more oomph and he'd be there.
Mitch Branson. The hairy body, the muscles and the heroic look are there but he too almost seems too nice of a guy to pull off the anti-hero.

Mitch Branson Tom Katt
Believe it or not we also thought of now-retired Tom Katt. Towards the end of his career he was very hairy and muscular, maybe too much so and almost had that "don't mess with me" look.
Again, these choices are open for comment, so we hope you'll let us know what you think.
