Website Rumble '09: Sean Cody Goes Hawaiian!
Among the many things that we look forward to seeing at Sean Cody are the videos shot on location. For the last couple years it's been a semi-irregular tradition for Sean Cody to take a small group of his models out of the studio and go to some vacation getaway for what have always turned out to be some exceptionally hot videos. We've seen the guys at a vacation house in the desert, at a Tahoe lakeside cabin, and in the Rockies for a ski retreat. All the videos have had great pairings and usually a video with the entire group, a real rarity at the site. This year Sean Cody took the crew and a group of his models to the most exotic location to date--Hawaii!
So far Sean Cody has aired two of the Hawaii videos featuring four models and, as in previous location videos, they've got a fancy house complete with pool to frolic in. We also got to see two "behind the scenes" videos accompanying each main video. Of course, the location is important but it's also been interesting to see who Sean Cody took along on the trip. The first video features Jake & Pete who get to start out in the kitchen and test out a few other spots in the house for viability as sex locales. Pete's the blond guy with the cute smile and devilish eyes that say "I can't wait to have sex!" while Jake is so named because of his vague resemblance to Jake Gyllenhaal.
The second video was released this week and features Matt & Keith. Matt is the sexy muscle dude that Sean Cody himself was so smitten with that he personally directed his debut video. Thus it would seems a given he'd be invited to Hawaii. Keith is a surprise since he had only done one video and that was many months ago. He was apparently too busy to do another video but he and Sean Cody had kept in touch and Hawaii wound up being the incentive to do another video. When Keith debuted he identified himself as straight--although he had done it with a guy. For this video Keith gets topped by Matt and we get to see how handy the house is for sex play. Bet you didn't know a spiral staircase would be perfect or that an easy chair & coffee table would provide great positions.
It's videos like these that make it easy for us to recommend Sean Cody although admittedly we'd do so regardless of these event videos. We can always point to the hot guys and the well-photographed videos that appear every week. That's a no-brainer. But there are also other touches that add up---the natural chemistry between the guys, the lack of pretense in their bios, and good kissing. This last thing may not make a difference to you, but it does to us--and we imagine it matters a great deal to Sean Cody. We have a feeling that he insists on it for his models and it may explain why some guys never go beyond the audition or initial video stage.

Jet Set head honcho Chris Steele posted a pic on Twitter of a new model John Magnum who was bisexual muscle stud Joey. This "amateur to pro" syndrome isn't anything new in porn but it certainly is happening a lot more frequently with Sean Cody models.
