Half-Year In Review: What's New...What's Back...What's Coming..
We're back with another installment our "Half-Year In Review" series with a spotlight on websites. Here as we take a look back through the first half of 2009, we'll also be taking a look forward at websites that are in the planning stages and ready to launch sooner or later this year.
We begin with the prominent websites that have debuted this year.
Twinkscape. Okay, this is a bit of a cheat because this one launched on New Year's Eve day. However most people weren't aware of this until 2009 was already started so we'll let it be on the cusp. This spin-off has proved to be much more than the "twink" version of the original site CollegeDudes 24/7. It's a fantasy role play site about three dudes with a video camera and their sexual misadventures. It really is a hoot.
Dominic Ford. By now you should be aware of this sexy 3D site which has evolved into something considerably more than a gimmick. Simply conceived but high quality sexy videos are the order of the day and you'll an great mix of stars & up-and-comers here. Of course 3D is still the signature element here and even that has been refined.
Island Studs. One of the creative minds behind the sexy male calendars from FotoFactory took his keen eye and talent and put it to good use on this very hot site. You'll see a ton of fresh faces and naturally sexy men from Hawaii as well as other Pacific & Caribbean islands. These are all real guys, very comfortable taking off their clothes and getting hard.
Naked Kombat. KinkMen.com enjoyed almost immediate success with Bound Gods that this wrestling-sex site was a no risk venture. This features darkly erotic, fantasy wrestling matches featuring an amazing array of stars & newcomers. Well-produced, well-photographed & extra length videos that are surprisingly diverse & addictive.
Nick Capra.com. Super-hot adult star Nick Capra joined the ranks of online video stars with a site that features him and other sexy studs in solo and man on man action. They're like mini-movies and as such can be viewed as VOD. Lots of extras here including behind the scenes action and galleries.
The Cock Tease. Drake Rock created this site as something to fit in between his original softcore Male Perfection and its hardcore companion site Rock Hard Jocks. These are videos where the models get naked and hard and get close but don't go all the way. As of now it's still available for free to members of either of the other two sites. As the name implies it's very tantalizing.

We couldn't talk about new websites without mentioning sites that have come back.
Dixter. This super-sexy Canadian-based site wasn't dead but it had been some time since it had been updated when we received a newsletter from the site owner telling us it was back. Dixter has a nice variety of sexy guys, many of whom will be new faces to you in solo & guy on guy action. We hope that as the site slowly gets back into updating on a more frequent basis that it gets the attention it deserves.
Steve Hooper. Straight porn star Hooper has done his share of gay stuff too and his website virtually covers all the bases. He retired a couple years ago but dusted off his website and has seemingly gotten back into the biz. We say that because we're still not sure whether the sexy star is updating his site although there is plenty of material on here to enjoy.

Even though this blog entry is all about sites from the first half of 2009 we wanted to point out what you can look forward to later in the year. At least one of these sites is available for viewing but we'll let you know when they become fully available.
Real Guys Exposed. This has been in development and been on our radar and it looks like it will launched this month. From what we've seen, this is a refreshingly gimmick free site with sexy guys simply expressing themselves verbally and sexually in front of the camera. Definitely a site to keep an eye on.
Edger 9. This site features very hot newcomer Race Cooper in the following premise:

If what we've seen in his previous video releases is any indication this is going to be one helluva site.
Boy Boulevard. This is technically not a new site, but a re-launch of Randall/Rivero under a new name. As we've mentioned before Randall/Rivero stars Zack Randall & Derek Rivero have split up but their site from the guys who produce Man Avenue will go on under the new name. In fact there original site will continue with new content until the switchover. As you might surmise, this one features a younger cast of performers.
Hard Friction. This is a new online video site produced by stars Steve Cruz & Bruno Bond and coming this fall. These two stars are producing their own content featuring themselves and other hot guys (newcomers & pros). You've seen these guys in front of the camera and seen the great directorial work by Steve Cruz so you can imagine just how hot this will be.
Club Jason Sparks. Jason Sparks has been casting & filming for this site for awhile now and it should be launching any day now. Sparks has performed, produced, and acted so he pretty much knows his way around porn. As for the content? We'll just have to wait and see.
It goes without saying that they're are probably sites we've overlooked that have debuted or are on their way
