Casting News Round-Up

This time the theme of our news round-up is casting for current and upcoming videos at studios and at online video sites. There have been bits and pieces of casting info recently so we've gathered it all up for this blog entry.
Chris Steele of Jet Set Men has had a good track record in casting online video performers and making them stars or at the very least casting them while they're on the way. You can see this at the online site Jet Set Straight Edge and in recent releases. Coming this fall is the just-wrapped flick Carjackers, a flick about repo men who take cash AND extract sexual favors from desperate customers who want their cars back. Carjackers features a cast full of guys who either started out at online video sites or at least appeared there. There are a few guys we've mentioned here before --Jet Set exclusive Marcus Steele & Hayden Stephens (aka Seth Sweet & Evan Grey) and a couple newbies we don't know about -- Buddy Davis and DJ Turner. There's also Josh Griffin (who we first saw at Male Perfection & Rock Hard Jocks)
and TWO alumni from Sean Cody---Berke Banks & Dayton O'Connor. We just mentioned Berke recently but it's been some time since Dayton appeared at Sean Cody.
The performer in Carjackers who has the most buzz for his looks and his "no gag reflex" talent is Landon Mycles. Of course we know him better as Marcus Mojo who has been on our radar ever since we saw him in person just before his Next Door Studios debut. As you recall he recently came back to Next Door looking VERY buff and in control. It's interesting that he changed his name for Jet Set yet his fellow Next Door stud Dylan McLovin has kept his original name (both of these guys AND Dean Phoenix have recently shot stuff for Straight Edge.

Kink Men sites Bound Gods & Naked Kombat both attracted performers from online video sites and studio productions including hot newcomers Drake Jaden, Samuel Colt, and Race Cooper. Jaden has videos available for viewing at both sites, while Race Cooper's video is up at Bound Gods. However, both Race & Samuel have recently shot videos for Naked Kombat (we know thanks to their Twitter posts) and Diesel Washington hinted at his blog he may do one here too.
Speaking of Twitter, Steve Cruz puts this service and his blog to good use when updating his various productions. While he doesn't go into much detail at Twitter he's recently worked with Tony Aziz, Derrek Diamond, & newcomer Draven Torres. He's also expressed interest in working again with newcomer Alessio Romero (from Green Door). Some of these guys & others you'll be seeing upcoming Steve Cruz-directed Mustang productions as well as at the Hard Friction website (this is coming in the fall and we'll be talking about soon).

Adam Killian may not be the busiest guy in the biz but he definitely among the few who seems to be able to do it all. As we've mentioned before he has experience as a model, dancer, videographer, and porn performer and currently does them all, in a very proactive manner. In other words he's putting himself out there. Dave Mason of Slick It Up recently posted on his House of Vader blog some snapshots sent to him by Adam wearing one of the more provocative new Slick It Up designs. Seeing how Adam looked in the attire and the fact he sent the pics was good enough for Mason to book Adam for a previously unscheduled LA shoot. Meanwhile over at Rock Hard Jocks, Drake Rock wrote that Adam Killian had "hit him up" about doing some work there. Drake is currently surveying members on whether or not he should shoot Adam for a hardcore scene and the vote so far is overwhelmingly in favor of Adam Killian. One guess as to what's going to happen next.

Lastly, we have a list of names you may want to watch for in the coming weeks and months. We don't have any specific casting news on any of the guys but we thought you should be aware that there could be something imminent: Kurt Wild, Diesel Washington, Tag Adams, Mark Dalton, Rock Logan, Damon Danilo, and David Chase.
