Website Rumble '09: Corbin Fisher
Last October we did a series which spotlighted several top online video sites and their friendly competition with studios (and each other) during the busy fall season of hew releases. (see Website Rumble). Times being what they are, this competition seems to have come earlier this year and so we now present this year's edition of Website Rumble!
We start off exactly where we began last year with Corbin Fisher for the simple reason that it started early when it announced an experimental partnership with Bel Ami Online (see Corbin Fisher & Bel Ami Join Forces). If you recall the two companies have collaborated on a series of videos featuring selected stars from BOTH sites that will be released very soon.
In the meantime both Corbin Fisher and Bel Ami Online have provided content for each other's sites. Corbin Fisher members have so far seen three videos "sent over" from Bel Ami: Alex Orioli & Luke Hamill, Trevor Yates & Keith Johansson, and a Brett Tamblyn solo. Bel Ami members get to see "bonus content" in the form of these hot videos from Corbin Fisher: Derek, Jeff & Travis, Lucas & Connor, Josh & Travis, plus the previously unreleased Derek & Travis. This last one is probably the hottest one of the bunch because Travis delivers a genuine, hands-free cum shot while getting plowed by Derek. In addition to these videos Corbin Fisher members get a special membership rate at Bel Ami Online.
This remains the biggest current news item involving Corbin Fisher but the site has been very busy with its very noticeable expansion. We've already mentioned that it has introduced "bonus" videos in the form of extra footage from current videos. This includes interviews, pre-action interviews and set-ups, etc. We really enjoy this kind of stuff because it's value-added entertainment. The same goes for the other feature Pete's Attic. Pete is a former CF performer who now has a "radio show" where he gets to interview everyone at the site on all kinds of subjects.
Then there's that Corbin Fisher store that just keeps on growing. There are now THREE DVDs available (Best of Lucas, Three-Ways, & First Times), two books (Amateur College Men & Playing Hard To Get), and a variety of goodies including the brand new gym bag. Can we say retail empire?
Naturally the most important aspect of any site including Corbin Fisher are the videos and the performers who appear in them. Several months ago Corbin Fisher upped it number of weekly video releases to three at the main site Amateur College Men and at least one at the straight & bi-sex site Amateur College Sex. Last week the site went over the 700 mark in number of guy/guy videos so if you add in the straight videos Corbin Fisher has well over 900 videos in its archives!
Of course this quantity is great for members but this move also necessitated new guys being put "on assignment" more quickly and more often. That's why casual browsers might not recognize a lot of the hotties now appearing in the Corbin Fisher videos. If you were to scan the beautiful photos on video releases pages (also known as the "Campus Tour") you might think you're looking through an A + F catalog. What it looks like is happening is that many more of the newer faces are sticking around and doing more videos. This look of a seemingly endless summer of shirtless and naked guys having fun on camera is fitting for this time of year and something to look forward to during next winter's cold nights.
