More on Sean Cody, Randy Blue, Harley, & Samuel Colt
Thanks to some timely web surfing, a comment from a blog reader, and some interesting postings from Sean Cody & Randy Blue we have a few updates on a few of our recent blog entries as well as a few new related tidbits.
A little over a week ago we spotlighted newcomer and Mustang exclusive Samuel Colt (read more here) and we've already got some additions to his "resume". We were updating links at Jack Manly and discovered that this sexy newcomer has also filmed at least one video for Jet Set Men, specifically for its Straight Edge online video series. It hasn't been posted yet but in the scene Sam Colt (his name here) gets it on with massively muscled Skye Woods. In honor of his new exclusive status with Mustang, Colt also has his own blog page http://www.samuelcoltxxx.com and his own Twitter page. They're both in their early stages but Samuel Colt is making the most of them and keeping his fans informed. Speaking of which, this week he's filming a scene for Naked Kombat where his "opponent" is Luke Riley (who just wrapped his role in Steve Cruz' latest for Mustang, a sexy rural flick). By the way, we highly recommend Naked Kombat especially for those who enjoy kink & wrestling. The videos feature wrestling matches with sexual stakes and has attracted a number of hot guys from adult video. If you recall this is a spin-off site of sorts from Bound Gods, also directed by Van Darkholme who has really turned out some amazing stuff.
One last thing about Jet Set Men, recently we mentioned that Jason Adonis was making a comeback and as you might have heard, he was scheduled to do two films for director & co-owner Chris Steele. Unfortunately it's been reported that Adonis is going back into retirement from films to spend time with his family. Too bad. Chris Steele has a great eye for casting from online video sites (Vince Ferelli, David Taylor come to mind) and it would have been fun to see Adonis cast along side these newcomers. Whatever the case, we wish Jason Adonis well.
When we recently spotlighted Sean Cody we mentioned popular model Harley who is featured in this month's Freshmen Magazine as Simon Dexter. A blog reader was kind enough to let us know that he's also got a blog (http://www.simondexter.blogspot.com/) Simon has been doing some interesting posts and showcasing some of his recent modeling assignments. We always thought that Simon/Harley was a cool guy and he shows it here, sending a nice shout out to Sean Cody. Of course we think the site is exceptional but it's gratifying to read that those who have worked for Sean Cody thinks it's a class outfit too.
While we're on the subject the current issue of Freshmen also features another sexy young newcomer that we mentioned in a previous blog. Lance Bennett made a big impression on us at Jake Cruise and Cocksure Men and apparently on the Unzipped Media people too. As we've noted before the company has been astutely choosing models from online video sites and increasing their visibility.
Of course sites like Sean Cody & Randy Blue do a pretty good job with their own visibility and make an extra effort during the summer. Sean Cody has been increasing its output of videos lately and has been quite clever with "programming." A few days ago the site released another "Auditions" compilation which is fun to see the guys who don't make it to the site in full-fledged videos--and those that do. One such guy is Glen whose next appearance at Sean Cody airs this week too. His partner is Doug who has become an unlikely star after just a few scenes. He's more of a quiet sort which is why it's been interesting to see him get air time.
Randy Blue is one of the best at marketing whether it's on the site, or at special event, bars, clubs, etc
As we told you a few days ago a collection of some of the hottest models were in the Gay Pride Parade and dancing at clubs. By the way, if Randy Blue hadn't posted pics we might not have been able to name all the guys that appeared. We're waiting to see if this pans out, but we have an inkling that Randy Blue is increasing the number of video releases this summer. THREE new guys two days in a row this week may not be a trend but we'll keep you posted.
