Port Of Entry: Another Raging Stallion Studfest
It's been fascinating for us to see that the growth and success seems to have creatively emboldened Raging Stallion. Of course we expected increased output of videos, but we frankly didn't expect the variety. After all, many successful media enterprises have a tendency to play it safe and churn out more of the same stuff that brought them the success in the first place. This doesn't seem to be the game plan at Raging Stallion. The studio has just released another flick Port of Entry that looks so intriguing as to make us wonder what the studio is up to next.
Port of Entry is another period piece, inspired by Fassbinder's gay-themed cult film Querelle in much the same way that To The Last Man was based on a classic western novel of the same name. Here the theme is nautical with the focus on "longshoremen, sailors, and leather bikers." and as the Raging Stallion press release puts it "when sex was just for getting off and it didn’t matter how you did it… just so long as you did..". It's a Tony Dimarco extravaganza and the official Raging Stallion debut of David Taylor (technically, his other outing Menace was released first). Taylor is indeed the star here, featured on the Port of Entry DVD cover, in a climactic scene with Bruno Bond, and a bonus scene with Ethan Roberts on the second disc. Also on the second disc is a behind-the-scenes interview with Taylor & Bond. So if you're like us and can't get enough of sexy "Soap Star turned Porn Star" David Taylor, this film was made to order. Even without David Taylor this naughty nautical flick (sorry couldn't resist saying it) has much going for it as follows:
-- David V is a sailor on leave who gets into a game of chance with a vagrant who turns out to be Logan McCree. Naturally both guys wind up getting a good deal.
-- Longshoreman Tristan Phoenix picks up some rough trade from biker Zack Jamison in a very hot-sounding flip flop scene.
--Dockworkers Tristan Jaxx & Pistol Pete put in some mighty long hours but still find time for a sex break.
-- Labor & management collide as longshoreman David Taylor takes his grievances to boss Bruno Bond in a sexy turning of the tables.
Aside from the bonus features mentioned above, the second disc of Port of Entry has the recent classic flick Hard At Work--complete with all four scenes in another 2 hours of adult entertainment. Obviously,
Raging Stallion is interested in providing "value-added" material to Port of Entry and from the sound of it, they've sold us.
Lastly, it will be interesting to see if Raging Stallion can keep up with itself since the press release for Port of Entry mentions that the studio has a new release scheduled for every week until the end of the year. That's an awful lot of sex and creativity!
