Steve Cruz-O-Rama
We don't have to tell any of you that performer-writer-director-activist Steve Cruz is one of the busiest guys in the biz so keeping up with his many projects is a task unto itself. Thankfully, Steve does a great job keeping fans up to date on current AND future projects. Frankly, we don't know how he does it unless... is it possible that he's somehow managed to clone himself? Because of his efforts we can pass on some news to you if you haven't had time to visit his blog.
First up, true blue fans of Steve Cruz need to know that he'll be making his first live web cam appearance on Sunday June 28 at 8PM PDT. It all takes place at Rear Stable, the Raging Stallion site where you can see streaming videos from the studio's archives AND where you can see weekly live shows & webchats with the stars. In order to see Steve you'll need to subscribe to Rear Stable but as we mentioned awhile ago a membership also gets you access to FIVE other Raging Stallion sites: Sex Gaymes, Collin O'Neal, Twinks, High Octane, & Hot Barebacking. Past live webchats (including that which featured Bruno Bond seem to be archived but we're not sure whether Steve Cruz' show will be.
Nevertheless, this is a rare first and fans shouldn't miss out.
We're less than a week away from the first production blog for Green Door, the final installment of Steve Cruz & Leif Gobo's RGB series for Mustang but Steve has already announced the cast for his next Mustang flick. It's tentatively titled Backwash and it goes into production on June 15--the same day as the Green Door production blogs commence. Backwash is another all-sex extravaganza that apparently will be shot in the great outdoors. It stars two of our top picks for 2008 Ty LeBeouf and award-winner Scott Tanner (Scott, we're still waiting on that interview!), Luke Riley, Race Cooper (stunning in XXX) red-headed & muscular Blu Kennedy, Max Sinclair and newcomer Tony Aziz.
We've really enjoyed watching Steve Cruz flex his creative muscles with his direction of all these Mustang movies and we're very impressed with his casting acumen. We think that every one of his flicks has been expertly cast and the pairings have been spot on. We can safely assume this will be the case with productions we've yet top see. That's why, although we're looking forward to the Green Door blogs, we'll be jumping the gun a little bit later this week with a "newcomer alert" spotlight on one of the stars of the film. He's making his feature debut in Green Door but that won't be the only place you'll be able to find him. Stay tuned.
