MuscleHeads: The Review

For decades Colt Studios has specialized in producing videos with gorgeous muscle men who epitomize the beauty of the male figure, so it has a reputation to uphold as the "gold standard" for the genre every time it releases a video. Fortunately Colt takes great care when it produces its videos so that this standard is maintained in a virtually seamless fashion. This holds true for the newest Colt release
MuscleHeads

  MuscleHeads
actually is a perfect blend of all the elements that you'll find in the best of the Colt videos. It features exceptional muscular men in various fantasy scenarios, enjoying each other's bodies, and having hot sex all featuring a mixture of great photography, some vocal acting, and erotic music to enhance the potential. You won't find director John Rutherford doing anything ground-breaking in MuscleHeads but you will he and his cast providing good, solid, boner-inducing, gay muscle erotica. And that's just about the best you can ask for.

If there was a "star" in MuscleHeads it would be masculine & versatile stud Vince Ferelli who is featured in two of the video's four scenes. In scene one Vince is the sexy husband lolling around in his robe when his businessman hubby Adam Champ comes home, ready for action. The two are quickly kissing and going down on each other before Adam tops Vince on the same couch where the action initiates. There are some nice bits of sexually verbal utterances and as we've seen before Vince Ferelli is a natural and seems to enjoy every minute. The chemistry between the two guys is also very apparent and that makes any scene worth watching.

Scene two of MuscleHeads is a variation on the cruising game that men like to play. Carlo Masi is sitting on a park bench, minding his own business (seemingly) and reading his paper when Eric Valentin strolls by and the two catch each other's eyes. In no time at all , Eric is cozied up to Carlo on the bench and they get it on. Of course it's broad daylight and these guys have no qualms about their sex play--even when Eric is naked and getting topped alongside the bench. Carlo Masi barely gets out of his business suit in this one which adds to the forbidden nature of the scene. We figure that all he has to do is pull up his pants, zip up, and he's back to work. Eric Valentin has a bit more of a sticky situation--literally.

Skye Woods & newcomer Nate Karlton are the stars of the third scene which has a nice domestic bedroom scenario. The room is exquisitely but neutrally decorated so as to give the spotlight to the product placement---the guys are wearing Colt attire: red underwear & a red jockstrap. The focus here is on Nate Karlton who simply has a picture perfect physique of which Skye Woods naturally can't get enough. Woods is an eager-beaver of a bottom (no sexual pun intended) and his thick muscled bod certainly is a hot contrast to the leaner Karlton. That said, there could be a little more chemistry here. There's no kissing and Nate Karlton seems a bit businesslike. If you like the cool, emotionally detached muscle types he's your guy. We hope he loosens up bit more next time.

Finally, MuscleHeads gives you a very sexy fetishy shaving scene between the returning Vince Ferelli and his hairy-chested partner Mitch Branson. Mitch is the willing muscle toy and Vince is the barber, using clippers, shaving cream, and a razor to shear hair off his torso. It's totally foreplay since Mitch is boned up throughout the session and in addition to exchanging kisses, Vince teasingly goes down on his bud. But it doesn't end there. Mitch gets on all fours to get his bubble butt and crack sheared which gets both guys hard. As expected, Vince is soon plowing the field he just cleared of brush and the two guys end up in a sexy, sticky mess smooching it up like they're ready for round two.

The final scene in MuscleHeads is so nearly perfect that it makes up for any perceived weaknesses in earlier scenes and it clearly showcases the talent and appeal of Vince Ferelli. It's no wonder he is placed in two scenes. Adam Champ and Mitch Branson certainly act as though they agree too.

Creating something cohesive when there are four different scenarios with very little story elements and a
variety of men and settings is not as easy task but ultimately that's what director John Rutherford does quite well. Again, MuscleHeads is not a milestone or breakthrough adult entertainment but it can be looked at as another reason while Colt is so highly regarded.
