Departures & Returns
There are probably many models and performers who retire from the porn biz and/or return to it but not all of them make the news. That's understandable considering the fact that many of them aren't well known by the porn audience at large. There are also some in the industry whose so-called retirements are short-lived and others whose returns don't actually materialize. So even when prominent guys do make the news with stories like this, we refer to take a "wait and see" approach to reporting.
All that said, there are exceptions to our approach if we have insider knowledge or if the stories prove to be too fascinating to pass up. That's happened several times in the past few weeks and what we're bringing up here.
It was announced that Mark Dalton is prepping to return to gay adult entertainment. As you recall Dalton was paroled from prison a few months ago and when he was released his agent David Forest announced that Dalton would be doing limited work. Now Dalton wants to return full time to the industry. In the last few months several things have occurred to make this a reality. Apparently he's been working out hard to get into the best possible shape to appear in person and in new videos. He's obtained permission from his parole officer to travel for work including live shows and personal appearances which will be a key part of his return.
Also, David Forest has made a special arrangement to remain as Mark Dalton's agent. Even though Forest sold his agency to Fabscout and owner Howard Andrew, Forest & Andrew have agreed to allow Forest to represent Dalton. Forest has already set up Mark Dalton's return tour and will handle offers for film work. AND...Mark Dalton has resumed his website MarkDaltonXXX.com with new photos & videos to appear there soon.
Awhile ago COLT announced that superstar Jason Adonis was coming out of retirement and would be appearing in one of the studio's Minute Men solo videos, HOLD TIGHT. While the entire video hasn't been released, COLT has released Jason Adonis' solo scene. It's available for viewing now for our online members only! If sexy muscle worship solo videos are your thing this should be right up your alley. It's worth mentioning again that a COLT membership is a really good deal for access to the vast archives of videos & photos and perks like viewing scenes like this way before the DVD release. As to what's next for Jason Adonis, well we'll just have to wait and see.
Another star returning to action is Zack Randall who we didn't even realize had stopped performing! In fact he's been away from two years although the site he does with husband Derek Rivero (Randall/Rivero) has been going strong. Where has he been? Randall & Rivero decided to move from Florida and look for a place where they could be legally married and where life was simple & spiritual. They moved to Kathmandu in Nepal! But now Zack Randall has returned to film at least 20 scenes for SaggerzSkaterz Studios and its family of colorful sites Boys-Pissing, Jizz Addiction, Toe Gasms, etc.
In addition he's putting together a DVD compilation that will be released by Bonerama: Zack Randall: The Story So Far. Randall will also be make a guest appearance and signing copies of the DVD at Los Angeles' Gay Pride Festival on June 13th & 14th. After this? Well if living in a place named Kathmandu doesn't give Zack Randall any great names for a website, we can suggest a few.
As for guys who are leaving the biz we start off with Jonathan Lowe who is quitting at young age thus we might be a little skeptical about the permanence of this decision. However we've gotten word on Lowe's retirement from Cocky Boys which has a very good track record for accurate info. There's also the fact that Lowe has done many videos for Cocky Boys and he's chosen the site for his last scene ever. In fact several performers have chosen Cocky Boys for their debuts, their grand finales, and certain milestones. Jonathan Lowe wanted his finale to be with his boyfriend Tony D and as a prelude he convinced the bf to do a solo for the site which first aired last week. This week is the swan song for Jonathan Lowe (and we assume boyfriend Tony) and the flip-flop themed video is up now at Cocky Boys. We can't fault Lowe for wanting to get out before he has peaked, but the fun chemistry he had with his scene partners will be missed.
Finally, performer/producer Collin O'Neal has made the decision to sell his website and DVD line and leave the adult industry. However, it won't be the last you'll see of him---he's merely shifting to mainstream Hollywood entertainment. Apparently his business had gotten too big for he & his business partner to handle and wasn't pleased with some of the directions that the porn industry was going into. That said, O'Neal has made some contacts in mainstream Hollywood and they have encouraged him to start producing. Collin O'Neal has always seemed to know his own mind and follow his own course so we can assume that this decision is final.
