Jake Cruise Studios
Jake Cruise, studio tycoon? Okay, that may be a somewhat lofty title even though his gay adult online video company is officially called Jake Cruise Media and includes three highly watched sites. Technically however, Jake Cruise does own a real "brick & mortar" studio as was announced last week by Jasun Mark, VP of marketing for Jake Cruise.
Jake Cruise Media is moving into the new, spacious & versatile Jake Cruise Studios where several hit Cocksure Men videos were shot last year. You'll recall that Summer Orgy, Hammock Love, Photo Shoot and Hay Hikers were either shot outdoors or in a different looking setting than the traditional bedroom set seen at Jake Cruise, Straight Guys For Gay Eyes, and Cocksure Men. Jake liked this location so much that he bought it with the idea of producing videos indoors and outdoors and with different sets & set-ups. Given the style of videos that were shot at the location already, we can safely assume that Jake Cruise will be employing more fantasy role-playing themes at the new Jake Cruise Studios.
The first indication that we'll be seeing different style videos came last week at Cocksure Men with its new video "The Gay Coach". Here Bo Dean plays the title role tending to one of his athletes played by Giovanni. It included some dialog and that role-playing format that we mentioned earlier. Plus, the lighting and photography simply had a different feel. As it turns out this was the first that was shot at the new studios. Jasun is never one to hype something that didn't merit the enthusiasm so when he wrote and said that he "Can't wait for you guys to see what's coming next..." we knew he meant it.
We already know that Bo Dean is definitely along for the ride at the new location since it was announced that he has signed exclusively with Jake Cruise. As for other names naturally we'd like to see more of Lance Bennett and AJ Irons (more on him on a future blog), among others. It should all be very interesting to see what happens next.
