Summer Sneaks
Summer is right around the corner and with it come hot releases from the studios and the online video sites. In the coming weeks we'll be focusing our spotlight on these releases as well as the films now going into production for fall & winter release. For now we have a bit of a "preview of coming attractions" .
The Visitor (Raging Stallion).
You gotta love movie buffs who find inspiration in old flicks to create gay porn homages. In this case writer/director Tony Dimarco refers back to the weird sci-fi cult fave The Man Who Fell to Earth starring David Bowie as an alien visitor. The Bowie role here is played by Logan McCree who plays an extraterrestrial scientist visiting Earth to examine human sexuality. As fate would have it he winds up in SF and observes all manner of gay goings on. The movie stars new exclusives like David Taylor, Angelo Stellano, Angelo Marconi, Cole Streets, plus Randy Blue's Lucky Daniels, Damian Rios and other "sextras" like Conner Habib. We've seen some "behind-the-scenes" videos and Bruno Bond and Scott Tanner are involved (as set designer & producer, respectively). Onscreen, we're not sure. Sure it all sounds kooky but you know we're looking forward to this one.
Head Hunters 2 (Hot House).
Hot House has a good reputation for doing series right without being redundant thanks to some choice casting. This one features another series of "workplace sex" vignettes and features Trevor Knight, Blu Kennedy, newcomer Paul Wagner, and others. Don't want to wait until the DVD comes out? Hot House Backroom has started offering scenes from the video before the store release. They've been doing this awhile and it's a great marketing idea.
Taken (Rascal/Channel 1 Releasing)
Director Chi Chi LaRue has assembled a cast of 18 super-hot guys in what looks to be the studio's biggest fetish/leather flick since Link: The Evolution. According to the site this one will feature "things you've never seen before". C1R Exclusives Blake Riley, Jeremy Bilding and Johnny Hazzard are joined by
Phillip Aubrey, Luke Cassidy, Zane Jacobs, Zack Jamison, Adam Killian, Lucas Knowles, Chad Manning, Dominic Pacifico, Shane Risk, Mitchell Rock, Tyler Saint, David Taylor, Diesel Washington, Josh West, and Derek da Silva. That's Killian & Rock on the cover which is appropriate since their careers have been interwined quite a bit in the last couple years (we'll have more on this next time). Other names were excited to see here-- David Taylor, Tyler Saint, Lucas Knowles, and the irreplaceable Diesel Washington. On his blog Washington mentioned he had created a new signature sex position for this movie It's called the "cannon ball". Oh yeah, another reason to see this flick!
Folson Flesh (Titan Men)
This one follows the Titan tradition of releasing "Folsom" brand videos during both IML weekend & at the Folsom Street Fair. There's more info coming after this weekend but we can tell you it has four scenes directed by Brian Mills and stars TitanMen exclusives Tony Buff, Dean Flynn, Eduardo, Rick van Sant and newcomer Will Parker. The video apparently also features leather gear custom made for the flick by Priape.com.
Titan also mentions at its blog that Matthew Rush has filmed for the company! His scene is with Francois Sagat in an as yet untitled flick scheduled for release later.
Green Door (Mustang)
Even though many of the details are forthcoming in this final installment of Steve Cruz' "RGB" series for Mustang, we are totally stoked about this one. Yes, it has a great cast but we're mostly looking forward to seeing what Cruz & Leif Gobo have concocted here. With each film these two do together for Mustang the quality keeps going up---and that's saying a lot since the first one Blue Movie was an instant classic. The good news is that movies must be doing well because Cruz is set to do more.
Erik's Fight Club (Falcon)
There's been lots of buzz about this Erik Rhodes video filmed in Prague. Due in June it has a boxing theme and features an international cast, including Francois Sagat. Rhodes & Sagat are finally teamed and their scene is getting lots of press--apparently the chemistry was very real between these two stars. The scene also includes fisting and this full scene will only be available online.
This list doesn't include the movies that have just been released or are recently available online, either in full or by scene. These including the following:
Muscleheads (Colt). The last of the four scenes has recently been streaming at the site and the DVD is forthcoming. The scenes are : Adam Champ & Vince Ferelli, Carlo Masi & Eric Valentin, Nate Karlton & Skye Woods, and Mitch Branson & Vince Ferelli. For fans of muscular men it doesn't get much better than this.
The Trainer (Falcon)
The big scene featuring Adam Killian, Ty Colt & Leo Giamani was first released as a download and the whole movie will be available next week from Falcon. The rest of the movie looks very hot but we're especially looking forward to the last scene with Ty Colt & Trent Davis.
Big Dick Society: Dicktimized (Jet Set Men). This all-star sequel was just released after being available online for a few weeks now. We're talking a BIG movie and not just because of the title. Chris Steele's flick has Trevor Knight, Cort Donovan, David Dakota, Cody Carter, Marcus Steele, Rod Daily, Austin Grant, Derrick Long, Jude Colton, Cidd Pierce, & Slade. That should say plenty.
Triage (Titan Men). This one features Marco Blaze, Tony Buff, Colton Steele and eight other sexy dudes in a hospital setting--Folsom Medical to be exact. It's been awhile since Titan went this medical route and as usual it has some eye-opening fetish material, some of which is only available on the director's cut.
Skuff 4 (Hot House). The fifth scene in this leather-fetish flick was just released and the whole thing looks to be a worthy successor to the series. With Vince Ferelli, Paul Wagner, Kyle King and others, how could it not be?
