Ahh..The Joys Of Twitter
We've only been at it a little while but we're getting the hang of the Twitter thang. We've got a Twitter page (http://twitter.com/Jack_Manly) and we've been posting up tweets but we're still feeling our way around the twitterverse. We've actually had a good time finding old friends, finding new ones, and discovering just how big this has all become.
We just read an interesting entry at Gay Porn Blog in which they discuss the Twitter phenomenon and put forth a complete list of porn stars, producers, studios, etc who are twittering. As the blog mentions it took quite awhile for many porn personalities to start blogging but they've been much more pro-active about getting on board the Twitter train. Of course, that's understandable. A good blog requires more time and energy, a good dose of daily content (words & pics) and at least a passing interest in web design. With Twitter it's much easier to jump right in. You can find the list here and see how many of your favorites are making the effort.
We scoured the list and found that many of OUR faves are indeed active tweeters (at least under their porn identities)---some more active than others. Some pursue their Twitter pages with the same vigor and enthusiasm as they do their blogs (sometimes more so) while others are noticeably silent.
Some of the names on the list probably won't be much of a surprise but we WERE surprised to see some people and companies who AREN'T tweeting:
Jake Deckard, Diesel Washington, Chris Rockway, Titan, Raging Stallion, Falcon, Frat Men & Frat Pad (these two seem like naturals!), Tommy D, Mason Wyler, and many more. Of course if you're one of these guys or companies and you ARE at Twitter, let us know. That goes for all you guys who might know more.
