PIck Of The Week
Lance Bennett Skyler Caine
Last time we forgot to mention that the two preview scenes we reviewed from XXX were also our "pick of the week". They certainly satisfy our criteria for being memorable, well-crafted, and well-performed and Steve Cruz should be mighty pleased with the results. As we mentioned Steve just wrapped production on Mustang's Green Door, the last of his "color Box" trilogy. It stars Nash Lawler, Chad Manning, Zak Spears, Luke Riley and newcomers Samuel Colt, Drake Jaden and Alessio Romero. To be honest we know that one of these newcomers has made a little bit of news lately but in deference to Steve we'll be holding back what we found out. Steve Cruz will be releasing more details on the flick, including performer profiles, on his blog in the form of production diaries.
One more thing. This week the aforementioned Chad Manning announced he was retiring from the biz. Within days he reversed his decision. A personal plea from Steve Cruz apparently played a role in this reversal. You can read more details at Chad Manning's blog or but he'll be giving more exclusive details to GayVN about what led to this whole thing. Needless to say we're delighted he changed his mind.
Now, as we mentioned before when we started our "pick of the week" series here we stated that our picks of the week wouldn't always be an online video or new movie release. This week, in addition XXX our picks are two guys. They are also both newcomers--one made his debut this week, the other has recently started.
Lance Bennett has made a small handful of videos for Jake Cruise and Cocksure Men impressed us from day one. He's a handsome, young, naturally well-built guy with a semi-goofy/sexy demeanor that's very charming. He's just starting out so he may have a tendency to ham it up but it's preferable to those guys that just lie there and have the look that says "are we done yet?" This week he's teamed up with Seth Sweet (aka Evan Grey, Hayden Stephens) at Cocksure Men. Seth is a lot leaner these days, but as we all know that doesn't affect dick size--as Lance Bennett comically finds out. We think we'll be seeing lots more of Lance Bennett this year.
Cocky Boys recently signed up another exclusive Skyler Caine and the site was very enthusiastic in its publicity. Now we know why. He's handsome with a full mouth, beautiful eyes and a nice bod. As sexy as his pics are, he's even hotter on video. We're aware that solo videos aren't necessarily an indicator of how someone will be when paired up with another performer. However, Skyler Caine really works it in his debut as though someone were in the video with him. Obviously that's in the near future.
