XXX Is XXXtra Hot
We usually like to wait until we see a movie in its entirety before putting fingers to keyboard and giving it a critique but XXX warrants our early praise. Thanks to the "Buy A Scene" deal at Falcon we can see two scenes from this latest Mustang flick directed by Steve Cruz & Leif Gobo. And if these two scenes from XXX are any indication Cruz has gone 3 for 3 (so far) in terms of turning out excellent flicks.
As Steve Cruz has mentioned XXX is not part of the color box trilogy--the previously released Blue Movie and Red Light and the just-wrapped Green Door. The idea behind XXX is an all-sex film stripped down to the barest essentials---no script, as few props as possible. Just hot guys having hot pulse-pounding sex. When you think about it, this is a challenge for all concerned because the temptation to put even a hint of a story must be very strong. That said Steve Cruz and company were obviously up to the challenge because the results are awesome.
The first scene is actually something you won't see in its entirety in the XXX DVD when it's released. As with Blue Movie, there's a fetish-oriented "director's cut" scene from XXX that is only available separately. And it's shocking---literally! The first part of this scene titled "Flame" is not for the squeamish but it's not grotesque. In fact we found it strangely magical. Yes, it does involve "props" but it's akin to foreplay between Scott Campbell and Derek DaSilva. Scott Campbell is bound to a table in a "Pit & The Pendulum" sort of way except there's no blade just a little electro fun. Derek DaSilva adds flame into the scene by tracing an X across Campbell's chest and the electricity ignites it briefly. We won't give away any more but suffice to say this scene plays into the title of the film. This leads to a very hot sex scene between the two guys that is just as hot as the bondage scene. Because there's no script the verbal outbursts between the two guys is naturally sexy. They really work off each other perfectly. Visually
"Flame" is perfect from the videography to the staging and the perfect angles. The right mix of close-ups and long-shots gives the scene intimacy without looking like a clinical anatomy lesson.
After "Flame" we couldn't resist watching the second released scene from XXX. This one features Arpad Miklos & Colby Keller and it couldn't be better. First the guys. Arpad Miklos is one of those kind of guys that exudes sex from head to toe. He's the kind of top that is rough & tough and in total command without being a jerk---he looks as though he wants to make his scene partner feel good. Colby Keller continues to be a revelation. This big long-legged stud has grown a beard and it adds a whole other layer to his sexiness.
There's really no point in describing the action here except to say that like the first scene it has authenticity. The chemistry is real and the sex is potent. Again Cruz & Gobo capture and convey the pleasure of sex visually and audibly. If you can watch this scene without getting excited you better have your hormone levels checked.
Yes, it's still early to make a full critique. But we think XXX is a winner. To see more pics go here.
