Colt Studios as the common denominator. Here we'll take a look at the guys on the list as well as spotlighting the studio's new and upcoming releases, AND we'll review their recent hit Boy Country 

  A studio really can't go wrong if it assembles a cast of gorgeous jock types and photographs them having sex in beautiful outdoor settings. "Sex in nature" flicks just seem much more realistic, spontaneous, and titillating. Colt and its Buckshot imprint have always been good at this kind of movie and Boy Country is another fine example. Add to this mix director Kristofer Weston who has the ability to make the guys and the setting seem even more pretty to look at without taming the hot sex.  

 Boy Country also represents the Colt/Buckshot ability to seemingly take great care and precision in casting. The guys you'll find here come from several corners of the gay adult video business ----from studio flicks to online video sites. Plus they're matched up very well without it seemingly too calculated.

  

 Scene one sets the tone of Boy Country with Bobby Clark and David West fishing from a rowboat on a small and tranquil lake. David can't seem to keep his mind on anything else except platinum blond Bobby and starts giving him head in the boat. Actually he doesn't come up for air even as Bobby rows to the docks. They don't bother getting out of the boat even when Bobby is topping his eager friend. How they did this without anyone falling overboard is beyond us.

 What's good about Boy Country is that there isn't any big overriding plot but the scenes flow into each other as though there is one. Bobby & David come ashore where the rest of the cast is enjoying a hearty picnic table lunch. All very innocent except that while slurping up some watermelon dark-haired & handsome muscle buds Matthias Vannelli & Arthur Gordon are eying each other lustfully. Arthur wanders off to the shore with a vague "come hither" look and Matthias follows. In no time they're going at it culminating in Matthias topping Arthur atop a somewhat uncomfortable-looking boulder. Not much time for afterglow and the two eventually rejoin the others. No one comes out and says it directly but they're all pretty sure what just happened.

              

  At the tail end of their large spread (sorry just had to say it), Trystian Sweet & Colton Steele go off to do some "exploring" and happen upon a swing dangling from a nearby tree. Well it's obvious the fresh air and the sunshine have given everyone a hearty sexual appetite because Trystian & Colton are soon going at it too. Bearded and hairy Colton is the bottom here and a verbal one as you'll see as he gets poked while in the swing.--it becomes sort of a makeshift sling. The two guys go off hand in hand but the sex must've been mind-numbing--they forgot their clothes. AND they don't go back to the picnic!

 Meanwhile the guys are saying their good-byes leaving horny hosts Andrew Blue & Guy Parker to clean up. However, the two waste no time and go at it on the picnic table. We half-expected them to incorporate food into the scene. It's interesting that Andrew & Blue play a couple here but the other sex scenes in Boy Country have more of a romantic tone. Andrew & Guy look more wickedly sexual and dispense with the foreplay and get right into a flip-flop scene that's verbal and loud. This works as an interesting change of pace from the rest of the scenes and puts an exclamation point to the movie.

 Boy Country is filmed and edited in such a way as to keeps its natural flow that we mentioned earlier throughout the film. Even when the sex gets more high energy the pace doesn't seem erratic. It's something that we've noticed in other films of director Kristofer Weston. It's not necessarily something that seems obvious to the casual and horny viewer but if you take the time you'll find his other films have this enviable technique.
