Thanks to several porn star blogs we got more insight into this year's GayVN Awards than ever before. We're not talking necessarily about the juicy gossip, although there was plenty of that thanks to the Brent Corrigan-Michael Lucas public feud which seems to have calmed down. We're talking about the personal side of the awards, and in some cases the emotional side. There are people in this industry who take their work very seriously and these awards shows mean something to them. Of course you don't have to take our word for it. Check out some of the porn star blogs and you'll see what we mean. 

 We don't have enough time in the day to read all the blogs that we'd like to peruse let alone write this one and keep the main Jack Manly site up to date. That said, we do have a list of our must-reads. These are the blogs where the guys actually say something and reveal a bit (or a lot) about themselves. Some of these blogs we've mentioned before but they are worth bringing up again. They entertain us, they give us that extra personal point of view into the industry, and they often show a lot of pics wee wouldn't see otherwise. In no particular order:

 Wyler Nation
   Mason Wyler has stirred the pot on more than one occasion and you just never know from day to day what he's going to do or say.---he's predictably unpredictable. You may not agree with everything that he says or does, but his blog is always fun to read and sometimes some very profound things come out of his and his guest writers' words. Now that he has his own site Mason has a blog there but this is still your best source for your fix.

 Diesel Washington  Recently we pointed this blog out but it's worth giving another mention thanks to his unstoppable passion. It takes many forms from his enthusiasm for his work to his very vocal disappointment at not winning a GayVN award. He's a big man with a big heart and there are a lot of people on other blogs and in the industry who think so too. Plus, he's got delightfully wicked side too. We're hooked on this blog and on DW.  

 Steve Cruz 
  What more can we say about a blog that overflows with such a positive and optimistic view? Steve loves his work and it shows in his writing and the enthusiasm he generates with his blog. If you're suffering from "porn malaise", this blog is a great antidote and it will make you excited about SC's upcoming projects. Plus it will give you a reason to see his other work. He doesn't realize it (until he reads this) but he's given us here a boost of inspiration. 

 Jason Ridge 
  You may be drawn into anything associated with Jason Ridge because of his dreamy eyes and handsome face but once you take a look at his blog you'll find a real sweetheart. He's got so many varied interests and seems to be excited about them all, including being a modern industry icon.  

 RJ Danvers  
  It's always exciting to read a blog where you share common interests and opinions with the writer but there's a youthful exuberance to this blog and to RJ that we hope never fades. It may seem odd to hear this but we'd probably read this blog even if RJ never mentioned adult films.

 Ricky Sinz  
  Forget what you THINK you know about Ricky Sinz because this blog is the real deal. Sinz is a class act and shows it on almost every blog entry. Yet it's very hard to describe this blog because it's difficult to pigeon-hole the guy who writes it.    
 
  We're also open to suggestions of other pornstar blogs that we didn't mention. As we said, we don't have time to read them all. And coming up soon we've got some non-porn star blogs that we love to visit.
