Sharing Leo Giamani...And Other News
During the past few months some news items have left us with unanswered questions and spurred rumors and this week we think we got some answers---as well as a few new imponderables. Not that much different than watching an episode of Lost! Given that we're only a few days away from the GayVN Awards (which will generate even more news) we decided to take this time to play catch up. This is also a fairly long blog entry because so many items are intertwined here. So bear with us.
As it happens so often these days, much of what we're talking about this time around centers on and springs from the activities of fan fave Leo Giamani. It was reported this week that Leo is going to be a year-long co-exclusive with Randy Blue and Falcon. Leo has been web exclusive with Randy Blue for awhile now and has already been doing work at Falcon Studios but this official pact started in March of this year. We already mentioned that Leo Giamani has already completed Burning Desires with Roman Heart and this Falcon flick is due in April. At the end of May Falcon will release The Trainer with Leo Giamani, Ty Colt, and Adam Killian (more on him below).
The fact that Leo Giamani was doing work for Falcon and Randy Blue before this announcement
certainly added to those persistent rumors about a Falcon-Randy Blue merger. That said it looks like this news should put those rumors to bed as least temporarily. And from the sound of it, Falcon seems to be very happy to get Giamani and enter into the company's first web/film partnership.

Speaking of exclusives, before the news of this contract came out we had mentioned Diesel Washington's blog. As you know Washington was an exclusive with Titan and he mentioned in one of his recent blog entries that since he's gone freelance he hasn't had a scene with any other studio exclusives. He wondered when he was going to get his chance---and so do we. By the way, Mr Washington also gave Jack Manly a shout out and we're very honored and pleased to return the favor.
An aside to DW---we agree with you on the annoying factor of the "flavor of the month" trend. In the case of Leo Giamani, we're hoping that he manages to be the exception to the rule and becomes a performer worthy of the popularity he's enjoying.. Maybe a scene with Diesel Washington will be the right "remedy". You and Leo both have been in three movies (Asylum, Red Light and Playbook--to be reviewed shortly) so you've come close. We'd like to see it happen. Oh yes, and that leads into the other match-up you mentioned. You can count us among those who favor a Diesel Washington-Mason Wyler pairing. You made some great points and we agree completely that Mason can claim his "king of the bottoms" title but it won't be official till he takes you on. Maybe a guest appearance on his Next Door Studios site? It certainly would work since Next Door has had its share of studio stars lately. Oh yeah and it was also fun to find out that you and Mason and us here at Jack Manly share an interest in comics.

Now, as we mentioned at the top, sometimes news creates slight confusion without even trying. The cast of the new Jet Set Men flick Tackle was announced this week. It's a football-themed flick by Chris Steele featuring Adam Campbell, Benjamin Bradley, Jesse Santana, David Dakota, Josh Griffin, Marcus Steele, and Blu Kennedy. We're not confused by the casting of Dakota, Steele, and CAmpbell since they are Jet Set exclusives. However, Bradley, & Griffin are Channel 1 exclusives and Santana is a Cocky Boys exclusive. How exactly was this all worked out? for now, we don't know the answer how this sweetheart deal came down. But, we'll keep you posted.

Rhodes Sagat McLovin & Cassidy
In other casting news, another Next Door Studios stud is appearing at Hot House Backroom. You may recall that Cody Cummings appeared in a solo appearance at the site last year. In early March super tall Next Door stud Christian Wilde had a scene with Derrek Diamond (who certainly has his share of non-Randy Blue roles) and this week Dylan McLovin & Luke Cassidy get it on. Dylan McLovin became an instant fan favorite at Next Door Studios and he was a great choice for Hot House Backroom to "borrow"

Here's a porn pairing that's been years in the making---Erik Rhodes and Francois Sagat. Apparently the two met at the GayVN Awards in 2006 and have wanted to do a movie together since. Of course both were exclusives for other studios so the pairing didn't take place (at least on screen). Sagat's contract with Titan recently ran out and he made it known he wanted to do mainstream stuff--and Erik Rhodes. And that's what's happened. Erik's Fight Club is filming in Prague right now (or may be done by the time you read this) featuring Rhodes & Sagat. There's an added twist to this scene---Erik Rhodes gets fisted for the first time on camera, courtesy of Francois Sagat. As with the watersports scene from Blue Movie, this fisting scene won't appear on DVD but it will be an online exclusive.

Killian Rock
Finally as we mentioned above it seems that model-dancer-videographer Adam Killian is stepping in front of the camera again in The Trainer with Leo Giamani & Ty Colt. This will be his second major role for Falcon since his debut with Zeb Atlas in the multi-nominated Best Men 2. Killian has been doing the videography at Manifest Men for over a year and turning out some spectacular videos. Also at the site he appeared in a massage video with then boyfriend Mitchell Rock and has often appeared on camera while filming during the Manifest Men live shows. Photographer Vin Marco helped things along by posting his pics of Adam Killian and viewer interest in seeing the handsome model increased. Killian and Rock also did a live cam appearance for the site's weekly free shows and Killian stepped in at the last minute for his Best Men 2 role. Since then he's been in training to appear again at Manifest Men while being instrumental in getting Zeb Atlas and Matthew Rush to appear on the site. With the announcement that he's doing another Falcon flick we can assume that he's mighty busy.
By the way, it seems that Mitchell Rock is also about to do a movie. We don't know the title but apparently the movie is for Chi Chi LaRue. We'll see if we can get more info for you. Rock has been a sensation at Manifest Men after earlier appearances at Get Your Fixxx and Randy Blue. More recently he's appeared at Massive Studio in another solo so we're eager to see him in full-on man on man action.
