We have to hand it to new site Dominic Ford for hitting the ground running with all kinds of publicity and promotions since it launched. This week it's upping the stakes even more with a limited membership offer. The site is a sponsor at this weekend's GayVN Awards and to celebrate it, Dominic Ford has issued a promo code which gets you the first month of membership at the site for only $9.99! For those interested you simply go to the site and use promo code GAYVN09. It's as simple as that. The promotion is only good until Monday March 30 so it's best not to delay. But as we say it's only one of the examples that show how Dominic Ford is working hard to make a big splash in the very crowded online video business.
As you might recall from our initial blog entry on Dominic Ford the site started off with a bang as the only site to feature all its videos in high definition 2D AND 3D versions. Plus it features newcomers and stunning veterans and has a membership price at $16.95 per month (which drops to $13.95 per month after 6 months). With all this going for it you'd think that the site would take it slow. No way. Dominic Ford took its cue from other sites' successes by constantly working to keep its name out there.

We got our first sign that Dominic Ford was going to take a pro-active approach earlier this month with its exclusive partnership with Pjur, the company that manufactures lubricant and other personal products. In the press release Dominic Ford announced that the two companies will be involved in joint-marketing and cross-promotions. One of the first examples of this was the added info that Dominic Ford would be a sponsor at the GayVN Awards and that its gift bags would include 3D glasses and a sample of Pjur lube. Of course Dominic Ford made it clear that Pjur was the brand of choice at the site and among many of the models.
Of course we all know that the bottom line for any site is content and here again Dominic Ford isn't wasting any time. This week the site launched a new video featuring GayVN-nominated actor Ryan Raz and Elias Matthews which of course is newsworthy on its own. But with this new video Dominic Ford is using a new method to colorize its 3D movies and give them more true-to-life colors. Thus the site will be converting all its previous movies with this new process. Next week Dominic Ford will release another major video featuring another GayVN-nominated star Vinnie D'Angelo and super-hot Antton Harri. Big names, hot videos. We couldn't ask for better.
