   Congratulations go out to Jake Cruise as the site celebrates its 7th Anniversary this week! Jake Cruise has been one of the most successful online video sites since it began back in 2002 and it shows no signs of slowing down. Along the way Jake Cruise has been one of the most talked about sites around and it's had its share of detractors as well as imitators, but Jake himself has kept on doing things his own way. Jake Cruise has evolved into Jake Cruise Media and has spawned its own spin-off sites Straight Guys For Gay Eyes & Cocksure Men, and helped launch the careers of many familiar faces in gay erotica.

  Jasun of Jake Cruise Media sent along a file with a "small retrospective of pictures from some of our favorite scenes through the years" and we pleased to see some of those faces that we mentioned earlier. Leo Giamani, Mike Roberts, Zeb Atlas, David Taylor, and newcomer Bo Dean were just a few of the Jake Cruise favorites that have also become OUR favorites too.---we probably would have even added a few. However, the face we were most happy to see among Jake's faves was that of Michael Von Steel.

  It seems a bit strange to get a little sentimental over a guy we've only seen in pictures and explicit videos (and a TV show) but Michael Von Steel was the main reason why we first took a look at Jake Cruise. Tall, dark-haired, handsome, lean & sexy, exceptionally versatile in bed, and one of those guys that just seems like a natural in front of the camera. Whenever he made an appearance on Jake Cruise  it was a must-see video. A few months ago we learned that Michael Von Steel had dropped out of sight and we were bummed to say the least.  Perhaps he just decided to get out of the biz altogether and go back to a private life and we hope that all is well. But guys like Michael Von Steel don't come around very often--at any site.

  Jake Cruise has made a few changes in the past year building up to the anniversary. The site increased the number of video releases per week, it went HD, and it went though a major site redesign. Of course, the biggest change was the launch of companion site Cocksure Men, featuring all the sexy men on Jake Cruise but without the participation of site host Jake in front of the camera.

  So what's ahead for Jake Cruise? We don't have any news on that front (yet) but you can bet that there will be a ton more hot guys appearing at the site, probably a few current and future stars, and more. And Jake will be there making sure that fans get an ample dose of sexy online entertainment.
