News Round-Up: The International Edition

For this installment of our semi-regular news round-up we're going international! We've got a few stories from around the globe and few from right here in the US with a foreign twist.

We start off with an import from the Czech Republic, Jakub Stefano. Last year, the super-ripped former Bel Ami model with the jaw-dropping pecs made a big splash in the USA before returning home to his native land. On his blog all he could talk about was getting back to LA and earlier this year he finally returned. He's just completed a summer '09 fashion photo layout for LA Sporting Club shot by talented photographer Bradford Rogne who has also shot the likes of yummy models Marco Dapper and Jesse Pavelka

California was recently also the destination of Francesco D'Macho & Damien Crosse who here visiting from Spain filming the second season of gay porn reality series STAG TV for their website Staghomme. The first episode of the season is airing now and it's appropriately called "Californication". The couple wind up in SF to film a scene for an upcoming Raging Stallion flick. Guest-starring are RS luminaries Scott Tanner, Tony Di Marco, Ben Leon, Scotty B., Geof Teague, Bruno Bond, and Steve Cruz. Incidentally, we're on a Steve Cruz roll this week at Jack Manly. We'll let you know about this next time.

Unfortunately we have not-so good news regarding another porn couple---international studs Daniel Marvin and Pedro Andreas have officially split up. The two had been discovered by Collin O'Neal and became a sensation doing work for Kristen Bjorn, Men At Play, and in the recent Falcon hit Roman's Holiday. They had posted videos at YouTube and done a blog together but it was recently taken down causing much speculation.  Collin O'Neal confirmed the news after filming a scene with Daniel & his new beau. Pedro has his own blog now and has been doing work for Alpha Male.

Lastly, we saw a report on recently incarcerated Nickolay Petrov that was rather sad. Apparently Petrov (real name Edmond Vartanyan) is claiming that he's innocent and was framed by a former friend for the crime of attempted murder (and additional charges). Petrov is serving a 20 year federal sentence in Florida and as we reported earlier he will be deported back to Armenia once he's released. Yes, we know that prisons are full of people who proclaim their innocence and Petrov could be just another. One thing is certain though--Nickolay Petrov made a tragic mistake with his life and it's probably really sinking in. Apparently he's gotten only one fan letter and through his manager he's made it known that he wants more. No matter how you feel about Petrov or his crime, this current state of affairs is simply what we said in the beginning--sad.
