Barry From Sean Cody becomes Paul Wagner from Hot House
Hot House has signed up another exclusive and for a change of pace this time the relative newcomer Paul Wagner is gay. Given the number of straight, gay-for-pay performers and bisexuals that have been mentioned in recent press releases this is pretty newsworthy. Now we really can't complain about seeing more of straight and bisexual studs like Vince Ferelli, Leo Giamani, David Taylor, etc. but we know that there are many of you out there who are craving to see more openly gay stars getting the breaks.
Now you noticed that we refer to new Hot House exclusive Paul Wagner as a "relative" newcomer. That's because he's not new to the biz, having appeared last year as Barry in a handful of videos at Sean Cody. He's a big muscular hairy cub that made our list of 2008 Favorite Online Newcomers for good reason. In his seven videos for Sean Cody he demonstrated a quiet charm and masculine versatility that made an impression on us--and obviously on Hot House.
According to the company's press release Barry/Paul was spotted at a local Starbucks by Hot House execs who were in town. Actually, that wasn't much of a fluke because we've seen him out and about on several occasions too (and he IS hot in real-life). Anyway, Hot House exclusive (and pal) Johnny Gunn apparently told the sexy newcomer to submit an application and pics to Hot House and when the company saw the pics they were impressed. Now you can take this story with a grain of salt but the bottom line is this---they added him to the cast of leather flick Skuff 4 and flew him to SF right away.
Skuff 4 has already wrapped and since then Paul Wagner decided he wanted to be a part of Hot House so the contract was signed. He'll be making public appearances for Hot House in the coming weeks as before Skuff 4 goes live online in April. Thanks to Sean Cody we have a very good idea of what an asset Paul Wagner is going to be for Hot House.
