Wolf Hudson Joins Cocky Boys
Cocky Boys has announced that they've signed ultra-sexy, GayVN-nominated adult star Wolf Hudson into an exclusive contract and his first video for the company is now online. Sought-after star Hudson has been in the news quite a bit in the last few months and it marks another shift in his multi-faceted career in porn. According to the press release, Wolf Hudson had intended to go back to straight porn exclusively but his initial experience with Kyle Majors and Cocky Boys was so positive that he decided to sign up. The contract allows Wolf Hudson the opportunity to pursue a career in straight porn while working for Cocky Boys.
As we mentioned Wolf Hudson has been making news lately but it seems he's been doing so almost from the beginning of his relatively young career. In fact Wolf Hudson has had a very interesting and somewhat colorful career since entering the industry a little over two years ago. He's worked for several studios and directors, done all kinds of genres, and has shifted gears more than a couple times and done a good job of keeping his options open.
Wolf Hudson started out in NYC where he studied acting & dance and performed in the theater and in indie films. His unique and exotic look comes from his background of a French, African-American, and Dominican descents. He caught the eye of Michael Lucas who put him in his Michael Lucas' Auditions series. Although he identifies himself as straight in 2007 he moved to SF to pursue a career in porn working for Factory Videos. Being a proactive performer he contacted Chi Chi LaRue about working for her and he was cast in Suck It Up.
Since then he's worked for Falcon where he was featured in the first Jocks Road Trip series, Russian River and the fetish-themed flick Vanished. He's also worked for Titan, Jet Set, Dirty Bird Pictures & Channel 1.
In February of 2008 he made the decision to leave gay porn and solely do straight porn. He changed his name to Kane Rivers and signed with an LA agency. However, he was soon released when it came out that he had done gay porn. This in spite of the fact that the agency already represented a gay porn model! Thus, Wolf Hudson was reborn and he appeared in a bisexual film Shifting Gears (again for Chi Chi LaRue)
As we mentioned this has been a busy time for Wolf Hudson. He may eschew labels but he has referred to himself as the King of Kink, having appeared at kink.com and Van Darkholme's Bound Gods site. He attended the recent Cybersocket Awards with Darkholme. He's been referred to as "gay for pay" but he turned down an offer to appear on that recent Tyra Banks show with the g4p theme that we mentioned before. Apparently Hudson had concern that the show could easily make him look bad (which did happen in part to those that guys that did appear).
In terms of awards & nomination Hudson is also well-recognized. He's one of the top ten finalists to be a co-host for the Grabby Awards. We received an e-mail from director Jett Blakk (with whom Wolf Hudson worked on Mug Shots) urging us and others to vote for Wolf as co-host. That tells us that Blakk was very impressed with Hudson as an actor/performer to go to that length to help him get votes. Most importantly Wolf Hudson has been nominated in THREE GayVN categories this year including the prestigious Performer of The Year.
The signing of Wolf Hudson is one of those news items that's good news all around. For Wolf Hudson fans (and for the star himself) it's a validation of his talent and popularity. For Cocky Boys it's another feather in their cap. We've noted on more than one occasion that Cocky Boys is constantly trying to set itself apart from the rest of online video sites. The way Cocky Boys has done it is by providing hot guys in hot videos without a lot of gimmickry. We're happy that Wolf Hudson recognized this too.
