More From The Cybersocket Awards
We're still in the process of editing and putting together videos from the annual Cybersocket Awards but until we do we have some more observations from the event.
As we mentioned it was very crowded at the Eleven nightclub/restaurant and as you can imagine it was very loud too. It was no small feat to get a few semi-quiet moments with the roster of studly men in attendance. Reese Rideout and Leo Giamani were hard to pry away from the rest of the Randy Blue crew but as we noted before they were very accommodating. By the way, Randy Blue was very well represented in total. Rideout & Giamani were joined by models Xander Scott & Gavin Tate, videographer Jeremy Lucio, and owner Randy Blue. There was also a tall handsome blond model with the group that we can't identify--yet.
The evening was packed with celebs of all kinds and we might not have been able to spot them all , but we think we did a pretty good job as follows:
The Industry Choice portion of the awards seemingly wouldn't have much meaning to many of you, but in many ways these are very important to you without you even realizing it. Best Affiliate Program winner Buddy Profits handles the traffic & promotion for Next Door Studios and it does so brilliantly. Thanks to Buddy Profits we are better able to showcase the sexy sites available at Next Door. Sales rep Simon was there, just as friendly and accessible as ever along with stars Cody Cummings & Tommy D. As we mentioned Cody talked to us, but we just couldn't get a moment with the always terrific Tommy D. By the way, Tommy was hanging with real-life best bud Nash Lawler (formerly known as Kenny at Next Door and elsewhere)
Super sexy Steve Cruz (interviewing the stars on the press line) and Best Live XXX Show Site winner Brent Everett were prime examples of how much the camera alters our perceptions. Cruz is shorter than we thought but he is also even sexier and more handsome in person--and very nice. Brent Everett cuter in person too--and it looks like he's beefed up or the camera makes him look thin.
Bobby Clark and Jesse Santana were on hand representing Best Amateur Video Site winner Cocky Boys which was very well deserved we might add.
Van Darkholme was on hand to accept the Best Fetish Site award for his Bound Gods endeavor. Accompanying Van on stage was Wolf Hudson, who is very dreamy sexy in person.
Best Porn Star Site winner Collin O'Neal is so gracious and personable on stage and off that its no wonder he is so successful . Other notables hanging out included David Taylor, Vince Ferelli, columnist Jason Sechrest, Hollywood writer Bruce Villanch (who also played Edna Turnblatt in Hairspray on stage).
Again we were busy catching up with guys and making every effort to watch the fast-paced show so to all those we didn't see or mention here, our apologies.
