Out of the seemingly countless online video sites that we've discovered over the past few years there are a handful that we consider to be in the top tier in terms of consistency, reliability, influence, and staying power. One of these sites is Mike Hancock, which is celebrating its 5th anniversary this year and to which we're paying tribute today.
Mike Hancock started out like most online sites do, featuring "amateur" jock types getting off for the camera. However, from the beginning Mike Hancock was interested in showing something more--sexuality without labels. In his bio he talks about his personal discoveries about his multi-faceted sexuality and how he wanted to show guys who were willing to explore this. Like several site owners Mike Hancock put himself in the picture early on appearing in several videos, using his own expertise to help these guys do extra "exploring". Mike has continued to play a part on camera through the site's history and this has continued to be an invaluable asset to this day.
Of course it's all about the guys and those who have appeared at Mike Hancock are a remarkably diverse group of studs. They come in all shapes and sizes and from various backgrounds and they reflect the original premise that sexuality is not as cut and dry as personal appearances would suggest. If you take a look through the model gallery you'd be hard-pressed to find a definitive Mike Hancock physical type.
Of course as it is with all sites, there are several of the guys that have become "signature" Mike Hancock performers. Dick Stiffy, James Oak, Sonic, and Jr Hardy are some of the guys who have done multiple videos and who we associate with Mike Hancock. But unquestionably, the guy who has been with the site the longest and is a Mike Hancock exclusive is the handsome & sexy Ryan Andrews. He's appeared in over 30 of the site's almost 250 videos and continues to be one of the site's valuable assets. Ryan Andrews is one of those guys that defies typecasting. He's a SoCal surfer dude but has jet black hair and looks like he wears 45+ SPF sunscreen. He is well built but doesn't have a gym-bunny bod. He's very hung but is extremely versatile in the sack and affectionate (with those guys who are open to it). Ryan Andrews is also featured in the first DVD compilation available at the Hancock Studios Online Store. Then there's Jay McQuay who has become one of the site's new faves--really built, really hot and slowly being convinced to do more.
Then there are the many guys that have appeared here at Mike Hancock who have gone on to become online video stars and studio film stars. Some started out here or ventured here early on in their careers but their videos at Mike Hancock often feature their best stuff. Last year Mike Hancock created Club Hancock which was designed to expand the boundaries of online videos even more with a kinkier edge that includes more straight, bi, bondage, tranny,etc themes. It shows that Mike Hancock has never been willing to settle for the ordinary and that's why the site is going strong after 5 years.
