Who's Who And Not So New..
It's been awhile since we did an installment of "who's who" but we were fortunate that some well-timed appearances in new videos inspired us to do a new edition. Besides this also gives us a chance to impart some insider information that we have conjectured about in the past but finally had confirmed.
First up, though many are loathe to hear about him, is Patrick Bateman. We don't need to explain who he is since he's probably one of the busiest guys in gay adult media, both in films and at online video sites. In fact his busy schedule has been the bane of existence for a growing number of fans and bloggers.--the gay for pay performer with multiple names has become the poster child for the anti "gay for pay" opinion-makers. This week he turned up at Dirty Tony (as Matthew) and Rock Hard Jocks in the site's first hardcore scene. To be honest it's possible that his Dirty Tony scene was done awhile ago and was just now being aired. His Rock Hard Jocks video was a three-way with his real-life best bud Rusty Stevens and Rod Daily. We were also mulling over another update to his filmography but by the time we revised the one we did earlier it would be obsolete. It doesn't mean we won't do one, but it's now become big enough to warrant its own entry---much to the dismay of Batman-haters out there.

Falcon Str8 Men's Alex Men Magazine's Athan
The second guy we wanted to mention this week is another one of those performers who hasn't quite settled on a name yet. Oddly he turned up as Mikhail at Sean Cody this week which is usually the opposite way things happen at this top site. Usually new guys debut here and go on to other sites and/or films. Sean Cody has a good track record for being the first to feature a hot new guy, but with his ripped and muscular body it wasn't hard to recall him from other sites (and a magazine layout).
Here's where we do a little revision on a past "who's who" (Falcon Str8 Men & More Who's Who). When we first spotted mentioned this guy here at the blog he was doing Falcon Str8 Men and calling himself Alec. We correctly identified him as as Leo Donis from College Dudes 24/7 but we incorrectly identified him as Taylor from Corbin Fisher. We went back and compared pics and found that in spite of very similar hair styles and a resemblance, Alec/Leo was not Taylor. We actually hadn't seen much of Leo/Alec until recently when he showed up in the current (February 09) issue of Men Magazine looking absolutely amazing---ripped, muscular and tan. He used the name Athan Seville and though his body had been transformed we still recognized the face.
Leo Donis Mikhail
Leave it to Sean Cody to straighten things out about Alec/Leo/Athan/Mikhail without even trying. Here his hair is shorter and is body is still fantastically ripped so we figure this is probably his most current look. We doubt this appearance precedes the others chronologically because usually Sean Cody doesn't sit on its videos for such a long period. This is what another site owner told us, apart from the fact that among website hosts Sean Cody is regarded very highly. The other thing we learned in this Sean Cody video is that Mikhail is from Eastern Europe as Falcon Str8 Men stated and still has the accent. This is another reason why we (and apparently other online video sites) like Sean Cody so much. The site doesn't make up back stories for their models--whatever story there is (real or fake) comes from the models themselves. While Falcon Str8 Men first mentioned the European connection, it was when Sean Cody confirmed it that we believed it.

Zane Todd
The third guy is the easiest since he's just started out. He debuted today as Zane at Chaos Men and was easy to spot as Todd from Corbin Fisher where he's done a solo and a hardcore scene (as of January 1) It's probably hard to determine which site came first in hiring Todd/Zane so we'll have to wait and see who winds up with the most videos and how different he starts looking. By the way.--incredibly hot bod.
Finally, as these few examples show us, it's likely that as 2009 goes on that we'll see another wave of fast-rising stars that may surpass what we saw in 2008.
