Kurt Wild, Dean Coxx, and Aaron James in the hot seat

   The "gay for pay" debate reaches the mainstream media this week when it becomes a topic on the Thursday January 22 edition of Tyra, the Tyra Banks show. Featured on the show will be three guys who have made names for themselves as g4p porn stars in gay porn---Kurt Wild, Dean Coxx, and Aaron James. After the show is aired it's very possible that the debate will heat up some more.

 No matter how heated the seemingly never-ending "gay for pay" debate has been, and whether or not you've grown weary of reading or hearing about it, it's become clear to us that there's a lot of gray area when it comes to taking sides. Some g4p guys and businesses have gotten more flak than others and this too has seemed to cloud the debate with bias. But no matter what has been discussed it seems that it's mostly been confined to the gay press, blogs, etc. That is, until this week. 

 We saw a preview clip from the show where an always incredulous Tyra Banks and audience members seem unable to grasp the idea that these guys aren't gay or even bisexual even though they've had sex on camera with guys. Obviously we have to see the whole show but from the answers that these guys gave in the edited clips it's clear than it's all business and that it's just another role.

 The choices of men for the show are very interesting because they all are prominent (and self-professed straight) stars on websites and studio porn and they have fascinating back stories. Dean Coxx is the guy that was a star at Straight College Men and later started his own site Club Dean. More recently Dean has bottomed on several occasions satisfying many of his longtime fans in the process. Aaron James was first seen on College Dudes 24/7 and was later seen on MTV's Real Life where he pretty much opened up about it all. He's since become a star in Jet Set Men productions. And yes he has bottomed too.

 Then there's Kurt Wild who could easily have been the sole guest on this show given his back story and his porn career. He too has done amateur porn like Corbin Fisher and College Dudes 24/7 and has done several high profile films for various studios. He's also been cast mostly in bottoms roles and seems very enthusiastic about it. As such he's bottom for some biggies (literally) including his co-guest Aaron James. Actually, it will be interesting if this comes up on the show. Kurt Wild isn't just straight like Coxx & James, he's married AND has three kids. Last year he made news because he was fired from his restaurant job when his gay porn life was revealed.

  We have a feeling that these guys are not going to come off too well on Tyra but we'll reserve commentary until we see the show in its entirety.
