Raging Stallion announced this week that its DVD of To The Last Man sold out of its initial run of 5,000 and that an "emergency re-order" was placed to satisfy the demand. Apparently the DVD sales are well ahead of the pace set by the studio's 2008 blockbuster Grunts thanks to European orders for the flick. According to Raging Stallion the customer feedback has been very positive and the company expects this word of mouth and a current ad campaign are going to boost sales even further. Of course the news about the sellout is also a good marketing tool (intentional or not) for more sales and considering the shape of the economy, this is good news for the porn industry overall. 

 While we at Jack Manly haven't yet seen the movie we will get a chance to see an edited version of To The Last Man next Wednesday January 21. That's when Raging Stallion will hold a red-carpet premiere at a local theater and to which we'll be attending. Scheduled to appear will be Jake Deckard, Ricky Sinz, Damian Rios, Antonio Biaggi, Rick Powers, AND Scott Tanner. Of course, the premiere and the after party will celebrate the release of the movie but it also happens to be the 30th birthday of star Scott Tanner. By the way, ultra-nice Scott Tanner has tentatively agreed to an interview with us here at Jack Manly which we'll be conducting shortly. Hopefully we'll get a chance to chat with the other stars at the premiere. We'll keep you posted and file another blog post after the premiere party.
