News & Production Notes
During this last week while we kept up with all the holiday activities on websites (and in our own personal lives) there were some other news tidbits to report that we're taking the time to catch you up on.
Falcon has made good use out of the crop of "it" guys that have crossed that threshold from "amateur" to "pro" during this very busy year. Take a look at any of ther high profile productions from 2008 and coming in 2009 and you'll see busy new stars like Leo Giamani, Patrick Bateman, Vince Ferelli, etc. But Falcon has also been grooming their own star, namely Ty Colt. We have to admit that we've been smitten with this blond and ripped straight stud when we first saw him promoted at Falcon Str8 Men so we've been watching to see how the studio was going to roll him out. This past week we got a good idea that Falcon is getting ready to make a big push.
At the Falcon blog this week there are two entries with mention of Ty Colt. The most recent talks about his upcoming Falcon Str8 Men video where he uses some toys--including some anal beads, a plug, etc. Apparently even Falcon was a little skeptical that Ty hadn't done this before since he's quite adept at the use of toys. He's also had at least one guy/guy scene at Falcon Str8 Men so it's doubtful that Falcon is going to have much trouble getting their young stud to do more. And he's already done just that!
Also at the Falcon blog the studio has released some fresh images from the their upcoming all-star film Asylum and included were some new pics of Ty Colt. He tops Erik Rhodes in the flick and as you can see Rhodes also gets it from Leo Giamani. Talk about new methods of psychotherapy! Who knows, maybe it had some effect on Erik Rhodes. He's fallen in love, has a brighter outlook on things, and changed the name of his blog from Slipping Away to Underneath It All. Whatever the case, Asylum is looking like a can't-miss video.
Jet Set Men had also had a successful year and in many instances the studio's story in 2008 mirrored and /or paralleled successes elsewhere. Amateurs wound up in several big productions and were signed up as exclusives.
Recently Jet Set Men signed up Adam Campbell from College Dudes 24/7 and production just wrapped on his first role for the studio in 5 Easy Ways To Fuck A Straight Guy. In a way the cast represents the year in review. Campbell is joined by former Corbin Fisher exclusive Ryan Rockford, former Suite 703 exclusive Dempsey Stearns, Vince Ferelli, Marcus Steele, Jason Pitt, and Patrick Bateman, among others. In this video Adam Campbell tops Patrick Bateman who only just recently crossed that threshold on other sites (with his real life bud Rusty Stevens doing the "honors". However this is Bateman's first DVD bottoming scene.
At this time last year we don't think anyone could have predicted the number of new sites, new performers, or any of the successes we saw in 2008. We cant even say that 2009 will be any different in terms of unpredictability.
