Malibu Heat: The Review

Falcon has certainly had its share of hot movies this year, some that have been accompanied by a fair share of publicity, good and bad. But there have also been a few that only got a fraction of the hype and press such as Malibu Heat. This is a shame because Malibu Heat just about has it all as adult flicks go--simple premise, lush setting, hot guys, and satisfying sex scenes with lots of chemistry.
As we mentioned on a previous blog, there really isn't a story here, just a look into what goes on at an exclusive gay resort set in Malibu--sort of celebrity health spa for wealthy gays. You'll find guests getting it on with the staff, staff members taking work breaks with each other, and a guests finding a sexual encounter with themselves. There's no dialog and none needed since we can basically fill in the gaps with our own plot ideas. You know, it's the old-fashioned way off doing porn---letting viewers use their OWN fantasies.
Scene one is a beautifully shot scene with Roman Heart getting a "complete" massage from Tyler Saint. There's a very hot and sensuous build-up to the hardcore action that is so refreshing--a nice break from the "wham-bam" type of video that forgoes foreplay. And Roman & Tyler work well together here--Roman as the object of desire to aggressive Tyler. It's scenes like this that remind us of why Roman got to be a superstar--her looks as fresh & hot as he did when he first stepped onto a set.
Scene two between the resort's tennis instructor Rusty Stevens and guest Jared isn't as sensuous but it does manage to have an interesting element of surprises. The role-playing here takes a few unexpected turns and Jared gets pretty vocal.
Scene three features two resort workers Matt Murdock (aka Patrick Bateman) and Noah River goofing around in the courtyard while washing cars. Naturally one thing leads to another and the two are going at it right by the car. By the way, for supposedly straight, "gay for pay" performers Matt Murdock and Rusty Stevens show a lot of enthusiasm in there roles here. In real life they're buds (so we've heard) so maybe they trade acting tips too.
Finally there's the "spotlight" scene that Falcon released early featuring Aden & Jordan Jaric. The real-life couple play guests at the resort who spy each other and fall in lust. The twist here is that the sex scene is a flip-flop and an on-screen first--Aden tops Jordan. Maybe it's just the newness of this role reversal but these two guys don;t seem at all like they're just going through the motions. Maybe off camera they've decided to mix it up in their bedroom too! Not to take anything away from the final scene of Malibu Heat, but the rest of the flick is so consistent that it doesn't diminish the whole one bit.
As we mentioned, Malibu Heat is very well photographed in a lush sun-kissed environment so that everyone and everything looks beautiful. If Falcon was attempting to get viewers to try and find this anonymous resort and register, then they did a great job.
