Jack Manly's Top Ten Lists Begin....
Steve Hanneman Josh Bernstein
Once more we've got a variety of Top Ten lists to share with you here at Jack Manly and we'll be bringing them to you periodically until the end of 2008 and into 2009. And like last year we'll be announcing our pick for Man of The Year on January 1. This year the guys (and some women too) won't necessarily appear on only one list--several have demonstrated that their appeal isn't relegated to one category.
We're starting off here with those sexy studs who show their talents with tools, give design advice, help us in the kitchen, and take us on journeys to places we may never see. We're talking about the men we see on cable tv shows or as we like to call this entry......
TOP TEN CABLE GUYS
Marsh Mokhtari.(Perilous Journeys, National Geographic). Another returnee to our list this British has another long resume-- pro-athlete, actor, producer and co-host of I Want That Bath! In this four-part series Marsh takes dangerous trips from jungles to below freezing locales.
Barry Wood (Hidden Potential, HGTV) Handsome, well-built, incredibly pleasant, Wood could easily have had a career as a model, In fact, he has been a model. He's gone from being featured on Trading Spaces to this gig where he shows homeowners ways to make the most out of their existing homes. He also has had a prestigious career as a designer and is now owner of his own architectural firm. As you can see there's NO hidden potential in Barry Wood.

Carter Oosterhouse (Carter Can and Red Hot & Green. HGTV, DIY.) It should be no surprise that Carter has made it to our list again and not just because he's gorgeous. The sexy carpenter now has a second show that shows people how to "go green" AND he's started a non-profit organization Carter's Kids, which focuses on building and developing community parks and playgrounds. On top of that he's a model too. Marriage material?--oh yeah!
Jason Cameron (Desperate Landscapes, Man Caves, DIY). He's a well-rounded designer with a bod! He fixes up crappy yards and helps dudes create their "special" rooms. Yes, he's appeared in fitness mags and was an actor but DIY really needs to get him shirtless more often!

Steve Hanneman (Hammer Heads, HGTV). Hanneman also returns to our list with his sex looks & charm, plus his voluminous resume. He's added to his credits as Bryantman, the mascot of Bryant Heating & Cooling. He's a superhero fights the villains of cold & heat. Check it out here.
Don Wildman (Cities of the Underworld, History Channel). This handsome & sexy star hosts this fascinating show where he descends into caves, tunnels, city streets, etc to seek out artifacts, actual bones from deep below.
Naturally, the show has a fascinating, but Wildman somehow makes it even more interesting.
Zak Bagans (Ghost Adventures, Travel Channel) He's the sexy producer, co-director, and host of this show where he and his crew go around the globe investigating haunted locales. You'll get all kinds of chills watching this!

Danny Boome (Rescue Chef, Food Network) This energetic and sexy Brit performs the same duties as the other "fix-it" show hosts by helping amateurs correct their hideous errors.
Danny Boome Jason Cameron (again)
Josh Bernstein (Into the Unknown, Discovery). We fell for the handsome Bernstein when he hosted Digging for the Truth so it was a no-brainer to list him here. The international explorer goes around the globe exploring myth & mysteries and he certainly makes history & archeology "stimulating". Fun fact--he has a sexy fraternal twin brother.
Matt Steele. (Designed To Sell, HGTV). Known as a creative carpenter on this fix-it show which seems to specialize in studly helpers! He's also worked in radio, producing and announcing.
Josh Bernstein Matt Steele
Finally, like last year there are a few guys that no longer have shows but will next year. We'll be including them in a "what's ahead in '09" blog in January.
