Good News For The Holidays
Although we're living in troubling times these days with the economic meltdown and the long wait until change begins in January it's a pleasure to report some good news for a change--and we'll be making the effort to find and post as many uplifting stories as possible. This week we're delighted to report that superstar Michael Brandon is on the road to recovery. This past fall the SF Weekly paper did a heart-breaking story on Brandon's fall from grace and it looked as though the porn star and producer was facing prison (see Michael Brandon.... ). A few days ago SF Weekly did a follow-up that should make his friends and fans very happy.
Michael Brandon has been under a supervised recovery in rehab, has found a new NA sponsor and has also put on over 30 pounds. Thanks to this and the support of his boyfriend, the future looks much brighter for the superstar. Brandon has another court date on December 22 where the DA will decide if it will pursue a case against him. However Michael Brandon is planning to return to the industry next year contingent on his avoiding any jail time. He recognizes that he's created a persona he is not ready to abandon and as the story quotes Brandon "...I love my fans".
Our best wishes go out to Michael Brandon that his life will soon be on a full upswing and that we'll see his return in 2009.
