It's not news anymore that Reese Rideout was named Men Magazine Man of The Year but we now have the official results from the soon-to-be-released January 2009 issue. As is usually the case when such contests are put to a public vote there are some surprising in both choices and omissions--at least to us.  But we did get a little perspective on this trend from the owner of a popular site (which shall remain nameless) --more on that in a bit. First, the results.

 #10. T.J. Cummings. Sexy & straight jock who's done videos and websites. 

 #9. Tyler Cummings. No relation obviously to #10. He was OUR first man of the year and since his appearance in Men Magazine he's changed his name to Cody Cummings and has his own website.  Straight but has done the "gay for pay" thing in a very gay friendly manner... and what a sexbomb!

 #8. Frank DeFeo. Also known as "Frank the Tank", he's done several muscle worship sites but we know him best from his videos and galleries at Manifest Men. There he's got a very retro '50s Hollywood look--HOT.

                

  #7. Diego Valentino. A rising star, for sure. He's an Aussie who first appeared at Sean Cody (as Julian) and recently at Jake Cruise's Straight Guys For Gay Eyes (as TJ Mitchell ). A surprise of sorts since he must have quickly developed a following.

 #6. Matthew Cameron. This Euro-stud is pretty new to the scene and is currently with Diamond Pictures/Blue Lagoon. 

           

  #5. Aaron Savvy. Well, you guys already know how we adore Aaron since he's gotten a mention in 14 of our blog entries. Between personal training and modeling he's also been pitching a TV series. If you're out there Aaron, give us an update, please!

 #4. Roman Ragazzi. This sexy & swarthy, masculine Israeli stud has been one of the perennial faves at Raging Stallion for some time--he's the current  "man of the year" at the studio.

       

 #3. Rich. This was a shocker, not because he isn't sexy, but because he's not a porn guy! He's a competition bodybuilder turned artist. It's nice to see a guy who is hairy & bearish get so many votes.

            

  #2. Chris Rockway . Yep, the  Randy Blue superstar came in second. Comparing Chris & winner Reese Rideout is pointless since they're both deliciously sexy and in completely different ways.

 #1.  Reese Rideout. 'Nuff said.

                                                   

   As we mentioned our friend with the popular website mentioned that two of his most popular models, he just doesn't get the appeal. One is older than he says and looks great in pics but lots of post-shoot work goes into making him look good. The other is older but has a lot of appeal to those who don't like younger guys. Apparently older is still a hot commodity among those who purchase website memberships.
