This was brought to our attention by Jon Royce of Mighty Men where both Chris & Reese as well as Leo Giamani got their big breaks. Jon also let us know that Mighty Men has just released a new version of a early video with Reese Rideout. Actually it's a re-edited video with extra footage - a shower scene with Cory Bolton (who bottomed for Erik Rhodes in Velvet Mafia Part One). As for Leo Giamani and Chris Rockway their highly anticipated first scene together went up this week at Randy Blue. Leo & Chris are pretty hot & heavy together from the start and it gets even more intense when Chris tops Leo.   James Hawk, who has appeared in 17 Randy Blue videos, can now be added to the growing list of models who have gone on to feature films. He'll be making his debut in Lucas Entertainment's next release, Cock Stalker which is shooting now and which will be released in January of '09. Cock Stalker also represents the solo debut of Lucas Entertainment's Mr Pam who is writing and directing the video. He describes the story as a cross between "Jerry Maguire & Single White Female" (try and wrap your head around that one!)   Another Randy Blue performer that has successfully gone on to features is Blake Riley and he was also featured in several You Tube videos filmed at last weekend's Join The Impact protests against Prop 8. By the way Blake Riley has a co-exclusive contract Randy Blue and Rascal Video. So far he's appeared in 19 Randy Blue videos in a little over two years and done 10 features with Rascal. He also earned the Best Newcomer award at the 2008 GayVN Awards.

  Last weekend at that previously mentioned Swallow event with 10 Randy Blue dancers we were able to name all but one of the performers.   When guys from other sites make their way to Randy Blue, they often let their body hair grow out. Gage Wilson was pretty hairy already, although he often trimmed when he was at Sean Cody (and he's back at it at Chaos Men). At Randy Blue he turned into super-cub, complete with facial scruff. Ben Thomas came from Corbin Fisher  where he let a little facial hair come out but at Randy Blue he's let it all grow out.

      

   As you probably know Playgirl Magazine has ceased publication of its print edition although it will live on online. The last issue is on the stands now and once again it shows how Randy Blue models are everywhere. Playgirl has made good use of the Randy Blue models in the past and in the final issue it's a Blue-fest! Derrek Diamond is the centerfold in a red-themed layout that's visually stunning.   There's one more Randy Blue model spotting and one upcoming one. That's Gabriel Shams who has recently turned up at Falcon Str8 Men. Gabriel did a solo video and a hot team-up with Chris Rockway.  Finally, we often have mentioned on previous occasions that you could go through the Randy Blue site and pick out tons of guys who when on to do other sites and studio porn and achieve a modicum of fame. However, this week there was an instance of infamy. Nickolay Petrov (real name Edmon Vardanyan) was convicted of attempted murder after pleading guilty in a Florida court. It was a sordid case where he botched a hit job and truly screwed up his life. Most industry people were shocked when it was announced he was arrested because very few knew of his double life. He had done other sites and several features before this went down and it could be argued that he was a rising star. Sadly, a horrible life decision has cut that career short.
