Best Men 2: The Review

It's quite possible that the rumored off-camera drama of
Best Men: The Bachelor Party may have provided Falcon with the opportunity to get more creative because the sequel  Best Men 2: The Wedding Party is considerably better. It goes to show that sometimes good things can come out of chaos.

With  Best Men 2: The Wedding Party the title tells all. After the bachelor party shenanigans in Vegas in part one, friends gather for the wedding of Tony Capucci & Andrew Blue (for the movie that is) and get a carried away celebrating the nuptials with some bed-hopping and self-discovery.

At the start of Best Men 2 director John Bruno addresses the logistical problems of recapping the first movie and in doing so sets up the solution of other problem of replacing Matthew Rush as the one who provides the bottom for Zeb Atlas' first explicit scene. New to the cast is Killian (aka Adam Killian) real-life porn videographer who is cast here as the wedding videographer. He goes about the house interviewing the grooms and several guests and they recap the first film and set up the conflicts and sex scenes.

As for the rest of the plot we won't spoil it for you by going into details, but EVERYONE is very horny at this gathering and have no qualms about getting it on with each other. This includes the wedding party and the wedding planners and their staff. As for the events of part one, they play an integral role in several scenes as well as the plot resolution.

Several of the scenes here in Best Men 2 compare very favorably with part one and in many cases are better. We have to say that the cast is uniformly better too although a couple of the main performers don't really seem to be trying to act and their lines come off as recitation. The highlight is the much-hyped scene between Zeb Atlas and Killian. Aside from being very sexy both guys have great chemistry. Tristan Jaxx & Kirk Cummings are also good together even though they are a study in physical contrasts.

                                                              Zeb Atlas                                                        Rod Daily

The orgy scene involving Aden & Jordan Jaric, Austin Wylde, Turk Mason, and Erik Rhodes is perhaps the 'too many cooks in the kitchen" syndrome but it at least unfolds semi-realistically. As for the "best men" Tony Capucci and Andrew Blue really have zero chemistry and it's probably deliberate considering the way the last two scenes in the movie go. We don't want to be too hard on Tony, but as sexy as he is, he's not very believable as a gay man here--he needs to take some "gay for pay" lessons from Zeb Atlas. As for those last scenes Rod Daily and TJ Hawke are the highlights a they seem the most at ease in front of the camera and act as well as perform naturally. Surprisingly Lucky Daniels, who we got to know at Randy Blue, isn't as effective. Perhaps he's trying too hard because he was much more impressive as an amateur although he is lovely to look at.

Overall, we found Best Men 2: The Wedding Party to be "whack-off worthy" especially considering the Zeb Atlas-Killian scene. There's also a heavy dose of newcomers working with the vets so that the scenes all seem very fresh and new.
