Slide is Jet Set Men's video entry in the 2008 all-sex pool theme category and director Chris Steele delivers by putting his own touches on a theme and setting that almost don't leave room for variations. You may not even immediately notice the differences between Slide and Buckshot's Splish Splash or Hot House's Trunks 5----especially when newish porn star David Dakota is in ALL three movies. But Steele pulls it off by using performers cast mostly from College Dudes 24/7 and putting them together in one exotic pool setting in scenes that seem like they're naturally hot and sexy and flow very well.

                     
    Chris Steele isn't content just to film a series of pool-themed sex scenes. He directs the guys to get verbal with each other and he plays around with the roles each of them is playing. What is interesting is that you don;t now from scene to scene how each of them is going to play out and that's the fuel that drives the engine of this steamy video.

      

  Slide starts off with that waterlogged David Dakota and Derec Stone who go from cock-teasing at a distance to slowing coming together for a sexy sex scene, Derec Stone is hung mighty thick but the ever-willing David Dakota bottoms out without a problem---and with a smile on his face. 

                  

 Scene two has Rusty Stevens & Derrick Vinyard start off even farther in apart with their dueling cock-jerking until Rusty jumps in the pool and swim over the do some knob-gobbling. Derrick returns the favor and what appears to be a standard scene gets a nice addition--Dylan Wood. He not only joins in but becomes the meat in their sandwich. We won't spoil it by telling you how the positions are changed up in this three-way but it's definitely a scene you'll want to watch from start to finish.

                    

  Scene three seems to start off like the previous scene with William West looking on as Shane Erickson is blowing Dean Carter.He joins in and both he and Shane take turns servicing dean. When you think this is just going to be a three-way Patrick Bateman comes out of nowhere and joins in two. Again we won't tell you how it all plays out but it's amusing to note that this is a total College Dudes 24/7 orgy and yet only William and Shane have ever had a scene together at the site.

                    

   Scene four features Marcus Steele and Dylan Wood--who apparently isn't tuckered out at all from his previous three-way because he gets involved in a second one, thanks to the arrival of Jason Pitt. After the previous two scenes this one seems the least effective in terms of trying to be different but you have to give credit to each of the guys and to Steele for making it seem like it's all fresh & new.

  Slide is beautifully shot and yet Chris Steele doesn't get too artsy with his camera shots. He doesn't lose sight of the fact that he has a semi-exotic setting and yet doesn't let it become the focal point.The guys all are fresh-looking and in good shape which is very important when there's very little clothing to strip off. And yes, that David Dakota does his best to stand out with his Aquaman good looks and pearly white smile.

The only major weakness we found with Slide was the semi-annoying soundtrack. The electronic music may have been intended as an eighties homage but it comes off as dated and intrusive. Even though we like hearing verbal sex scenes, we were often tempted to put the whole thing on mute.
