Mental Health Break
If you're as anxious as we are today you probably aren't going to be thinking too much about gay porn, websites, blogs, etc. So we do understand if you're reading this entry late tonight, tomorrow, or later in the week--there ARE much more important things to think about. In a way we hope traffic here and elsewhere slows down today---it means lots of you are out voting and keeping your eyes on the results. That said, we at Jack Manly need to take our minds off the election at least for a few hours and take of business here. Hopefully this will serve to give any number of you out there a bit of a mental health break. Although it does seem frivolous the fabulous world of gay erotica just keeps moving along--no matter how things turn out tonight and tomorrow.
First a few odds and ends.
If we didn't make it clear enough we at Jack Manly are so grateful to Jett Blakk for taking the time to grant us an interview (posted now on the Jack Manly Interviews page). He was generous with his candor, wit, and friendliness and gave us a fascinating insight into the world of gay porn. We've had continuing correspondence with Jett Blakk since and he has confirmed what we suspected from the start. He is not just a talented individual but a terrific guy.
One of the things we try and avoid during our interviews is controversy or putting out subjects on the spot. We like the interviews to be fun for all. For that reason we didn't ask Jett too much about Jason Ridge -- just in case they weren't on friendly terms. And after all the interview was about Jett Blakk. Well as it turns out our trepidation was groundless-- Jason & Jett are still friends. In fact, we just read in a profile on Jason Ridge that he lists Jett Blakk as someone who from whom he learned a great deal. The good news is that he'd like Jett Blakk to write and direct a film for his Ridgeline Films company as Jett mentioned in his interview. What a great reunion that would be.
Jett Blakk also has a lot of other great plans in store, some of which he can't even give us a hint about. When the plans are underway, we'll be sure and keep you posted.

There have been a number of "IT" guys this year appearing at several major websites and we're going to have a devil of a time compiling our "best of" lists at the end of the year. One of these "IT" guys has wasted no time in making the most of his rising stardom. Alain Lamas has been posting up some tantalizing muscle flexing videos on YouTube which lead to his getting hired for very hot solo videos and gallery pics at Man Avenue and Manifest Men. Now the Cuban stud has his OWN website Alain Lamas with videos and galleries and a webcam. He's brought his cocky, verbal style with him too.
Alain Lamas is one of the offerings from MenClub69 which also provides Big PJ. MenClub69 is also planning an umbrella website for sites like these and we'll keep you posted on this (as well as letting you know if we find others in this same category.
