Michael Lucas gets hitched Will Clark gets honored
We're ending this month of blogs with a fair amount of news from the gay adult entertainment industry which itself had a very busy month in just about every sector. November looks to be even busier in addition to that election thing everyone (including we at Jack Manly) is talking about. You know, where history is going to made and all. Hard to believe that at this time next month the political discussions will have completely gone into a whole new direction.
We're sure that Tuesday November 4 will be very personally significant to Lucas Entertainment President Michael Lucas who just tied the knot with his longtime boyfriend Richard Winger, in a ceremony officiated by West Hollywood City Councilman John Duran. The wedding was also part of a fund-raiser to defeat Proposition 8, the California initiative which would eliminate the rights of same-sex couples to marry. In lieu of wedding gifts, guests were encouraged to donate to the No on 8 campaign.
Even though the wedding was a private service, it was filmed by Mr Pam, Lucas Entertainment videographer and attended by several industry bigwigs and friends. Chi Chi LaRue, Randy Blue, JC Adams, RuPaul, Ben Patrick Johnson, and many others were on hand to support the couple and the cause. Let's hope that when the married couple commemorates this special occasion in NYC next month there's something to celebrate.
Speaking of NYC, resident gay adult performer turned AIDS activist Will Clark will be heading to Chicago in November to be saluted by the Bijou Theater as part of its monthly Spotlight Series. The Bijou salutes a model, director, or studio with a series of screenings and Will Clark will be the honoree for November. Clark started out at Hot House in 1995 and went on to appear in almost 50 films in various genres. Later he got involved in AIDS activism with his Bad Boys Pool Party series of fund-raisers and more recently as the host of Porno Bingo parties. The screenings run from Nov 10-12. We offer congrats to Will who we are very honored to know personally.

Titan Men returns to the carnival/circus theme for its new movie Funhouse. If you're familiar with Carny and Cirque Noir, you'll probably have a good idea of the kind of sexy-creepy-fetishy fantasy that Brian Mills has concocted for this latest flick. The story follows two buddies Ethan Anders and Eduardo who go to a carnival and get on board a funhouse ride where they witness all kinds of sex scenes played out before their eyes. The series of sexy vignettes stars Dean Flynn with Eric Moreau, Tony Buff with Derek da Silva, Josh West, & Rocky Torrez, Alex Baresi & Bjoern Giger, and a three way finale with Anders, Eduardo and Francois Sagat dressed in his carnival finery. If you've seen model shots of Sagat you know his has a real thing for bizarre costumes so this must've been a treat for him. TitanOn Demand members can watch Funhouse on demand right now way before it's available on November 18. You can see a preview (including a trailer and pics) here. And yes, the movie will be released in a Blu-ray edition.

Finally, More than a week ago Roland Dane announced that Wrestle and Fuck had become "the ultimate wrestling community" Wrestle Hard. It seems likely that the original site name might have been a bit too graphic to get picked up by search engines. Obviously, Wrestle Hard is a bit more "genteel". While the new site is very similar to the old, Dane has added new features including private member forums, pay-per-minute billing, and hot new faces. Among them is Max Summers, a Dane discovery who has done two scenes for the site and is already getting lots of "blogosphere buzz".
