Back in June we mentioned that the winners of European Gay Porn Awards (EGPA) were announced and that the EGPA had added website division with the apt name EGPA Web Awards.  As with the EGPA Awards, the Web Award winners were determined by online voting which ended on September 2. The awards were to be announced and handed out at the erotic expo/fair Venus Berlin but because of economic factors there was a lack of sponsors for the scheduled ceremony. Thus, while the EGPA will still be attending the expo, they decided to announce the winners this past October 10 in lieu of hosting an event-within-an-event.

There aren't a lot of surprises although we were happy to see some of our favorite sites get some recognition.  And it sure would be nice if some or all of the porn awards next year took the time to added online categories to its nominations. We all know that online video sites are a big creative driving force and their influences are only increasing.
