Website Rumble: Randy Blue

Naturally we couldn't do our series on websites and their increased output without a look at Randy Blue. Whether it's releasing new videos almost daily, signing up new exclusives, raising the bar on live shows, producing mini-movies, or presenting TWO blogs you can always count on Randy Blue to be leading the pack when it comes to the competitive nature of the business. The difference at Randy Blue is because the site is already doing so much, when it adds extra stuff it barely registers a blip.
So what's a site like Randy Blue to do when it's already expected to do more for its viewers? It tries to do something unexpected and that isn't easy when the site is often tempted to spill the beans in its main blog. For one thing when it comes to the live show schedule Randy Blue often keeps secret the identity of the performers by tagging them as "mystery guest". Other times it will use the live show to debut a new model in what's known as a "Fresh Meat" show. Then there are those guys who don't live in LA but come out for a series of videos (to be shown later). Their arrival is usually signalled by their return to the live show. Next week fan fave Chris Rockway returns so you can expect that he'll have new videos popping up at the site soon.
At the other blog Randy Blue Ripped fitness expert Peter Adonis has got a pretty nifty thing going. He offers fitness and workout tips which include videos with guest stars like Jeremy Walker. There's also an ongoing comic that just started featuring the adventures of Peter himself.

Every one of the major sites likes to pride itself on discovering new talent and grooming stars and hopefully gaining exclusives but Randy Blue manages to get more than its fair share. There have been several hot new models (see below)that could become superstars here but the ones that have been getting the most attention (at our blog and elsewhere) are Jeremy Walker & Leo Giamani. They're both very different from each other which makes the idea of a pairing that more interesting to ponder.
Jeremy Walker has been doing a few more "heated" videos lately BUT he's still having the chjris Rockway problem---not comfortable with the male kissing. He's compensated for it by being pretty verbal but he's trayed a little too much into "acting" instead of relaxing. He's been changing his looks a lot lately too and while he does look good he needs to keep it natural.
Leo Giamani's tenure at Randy Blue has pretty much mirrored that of other stars groomed for success at the site--solo scene, then romps with other guys building up to a big bottom scene. The only problem with this strategy is that Leo G had pretty much already done it all at other sites before he even signed up at Randy Blue. The suspense and excitement over what Leo would do was gone before he even got here. So Randy Blue has relied on another tactic--who Leo Giamani would do it with is the excitement generator. We vote for another go round with one of our faves Trent Davis.

As for the rest of the crew we're holding out hope that some of the newer studs debuting at Randy Blue will also be stars. Travis Michaels, Jake McManus, and Brandon James are just a few of the current new guys we like. There's also Ben Thomas who used to be at Corbin Fisher and let his body hair grow out in transferring to Randy Blue.
As for anything super special happening at Randy Blue? Last year we got the Halloween special A Taste of Blue (with Chris Rockway as a seductive vampire) and earlier in '08 we got the extra long porn noir Alley Cats. Will Randy Blue do something like this in the near future? Time will tell.
