On the Hunt was launched awhile ago and in recent months it started offering tools to blogs and websites who wanted to promote the online video site. So, we decided to go back and take another look at On the Hunt with the idea of writing up a site review for Jack Manly. Simply stated, we were impressed beyond our expectations. That's saying a great deal since we have looked over a ton of websites in months since we first started and have pretty much seen it all.  You can read the full On the Hunt review here but we wanted to sum it up here.

  The premise of On the Hunt is that it real members of Manhunt having their hook-ups filmed put up on the site. In addition the videos are all filmed by real pornstars and adult film directors. These videos aren't filmed on a set either. They are shot in the cities where the hook-ups actually transpire. With these factors in mind, On the Hunt was able to set itself apart from other online video sites. And for the most part it has stayed true to the premise only swaying away from it in a few cases (and these were minor divergences anyway). For example, aside from a few exceptions these guys are indeed first-timers.

    

 When we took a longer look at On the Hunt there were some other features, perhaps not as noticeable at first glance but that we found worth mentioning.
 
  -- The videos are over 30 minutes long (longer than most online videos that average about 20 minutes--a rough estimate)
 
 -- On the Hunt videos are also pretty spontaneous and free-form which adds a nice touch of reality to the proceedings. 

 -- Since there are four different directors right now (Matthew Rush, Caesar, Jeremy Hall, Collin O'Neal) each has very different styles not just in filming but in how they interact with the performers. The directors will often interview the performers, appear on camera and in some cases "interact" with them. 

  -- There are also so-called "bonus" videos, also updated weekly at On the Hunt. These are "behind the scenes" videos, extended scenes, extra footage, etc. There is such an interesting variety with both video updates that you literally can't predict what you'll see.

  -- The site layout. One thing that we look for in any site is ample information whether it's pictures, video previews, dating of the content, text info on the models and video content, and everything set up chronologically.  ALL of these elements are incorporated into the design of On the Hunt. This is a tried-and-true method to attract casual online browsers and turn them into members. 

 ---Variety, variety, variety. We love a website that gives viewers all kinds of models and performers of all ages, shapes, and styles. Of course appealing to different tastes is important but On the Hunt also has   the "identification factor": guys often want to see performers like themselves.

  Finally, as long as On the Hunt stays unique and evolves the way it has it should continue to be a success.  We look forward to keeping an eye on it and updating you in the future.
