BarBack: The Review

Scott Tanner Max Schutler Justin Jameson
The fantasy stereotype of the oversexed bartender gets the full treatment in BarBack, the new all-sex video release from Raging Stallion. Directed by Ben Leon, BarBack is a series of vignettes related only by their theme of sex in a bar. And when we mean all-sex we're not joking--there's no dialog, save for a few grunts and groans, and the plot (if any) of each scene is left up to the viewer's imagination. Without a script those performers who aren't so skilled at acting are on more of an even footing with those who can say their lines and emote. The result is a lot more scenes of highly charged sex between guys with chemistry.
The first scene takes place in a bar's storage room where Matthieu Paris breaks in on Scott Tanner who is sitting there jacking off. The two guys trade off blowjobs before going hardcore--we're talking going at it three times! And every time these two extra-horned up guys get it on Matthieu is the ever-eager bottom. Now you'd expect three times with the same roles might get redundant but these two get into a variety of positions that makes this a satisfying sequence.

Logan McCree Tamas Eszterhazy
The next scene features Tamas Eszterhazy and Antonio Biaggi as what we assume are barbacks. They go from stacking glasses to getting it on in no time flat. Tamas Eszterhazy has the harder job here---he has to service the ample Antonio Biaggi. Once he masters the oral part of the job he has to bottom for Biaggi. Eszterhazy is hung too but Biaggi is such a total top that it really doesn't matter. This is one of those scenes that proves a hard driving hung top is only as good as the talented bottom that takes him on.
The next scene is a solo featuring muscular Vic Rocco as some dude who must've had a night of debauchery and passed out in the bar. He wakes up in a deserted bar in the morning, his pants already undone and horned up all over again. Well of course there's nothing to do except go home but Rocco decides to get off in the bar (obviously before the cleaning crew gets in!). If you're not much for solo scenes you'll probably fast forward through this one. Rocco is great eye candy but not much in the way of a show-off type performer.

Matthieu Paris Antonio Biaggi
The 4th scene is total fantasy featuring Virgil Hawkins and Maximo De Leon as bar patrons in an establishment without any music OR bartenders or supervisors. In other words it looks like a self-service bar! Left to their own devices the two hot numbers cruise each other then go for the hardcore. What's good about this scene is that these two really show some on-camera passion --it isn't just a top and a bottom going at it ---they really seem to make a connection and thus it has much more appeal.
Ricky Sinz and Max Schutler are next as bartender & barback go for it on top of the bar itself. With our knowledge of both guys we had an idea that this scene would be hot--and it is. Sinz doesn't need a script to show off his sexual prowess and on-camera presence and he seems to bring out a little more enthusiasm out of Max Schutler. It's not that Schutler is laid back but he's more of the slow-burning Latin passion school of performers. With Sinz on top Max is much more vivacious.

Another solo scene follows featuring Clint Wolf in his Raging Stallion debut. He's much more of a tease than Rocco so the scene definitely has a bit more sexual tension. He plays the clean-up guy who after finishing up in the deserted bar, gets off (horned up by what we don't know). He's goes about it more slowly and methodically, playing to the camera and showing off an incredibly sexy muscle body. About the only drawback to this scene is that it consists of too many close-ups and camera pans. We were much more interested in seeing the whole Clint Wolf scene from slightly farther away. He needs to come back for more.

Virgil Hawkins Maximo De Leon
BarBack ends with a bartender and bar patron scene with Logan McCree & Justin Jameson. But the roles are not as you might expect. Jameson is the bartender and tattooed McCree is the patron who get it on in the bar. This the kind of top/bottom scene we like where the two guys aren't into some power trip even when the sex gets hotter.

Vic Rocco Clint Wolf
Overall, the dim lighting in BarBack works several ways. It gives the whole bar scene a realistic feel as well as adding a sultry ambiance to each of the scenes. Whether it's intentional or not it also obscures the heavily tattooed figures of Sinz & McCree. We don't have any problem with the guys being so heavily tattooed, but sometimes that element can be as distracting.
Ultimately BarBack is satisfying because it's not overly garnished with fetish or kink elements that would be unnecessary. Ben Leon wisely opts to get back to basics with intense sex scenes punctuated with chemistry between the performers. The results of this decision make very good sense and make this a very worthwhile video.
