 The other day we mentioned that the print media (such as Freshmen Magazine) has been increasingly turning its eyes to online video sites for models and performers to feature in their publications. We also mentioned that this trend wasn't even newsworthy anymore when it came to major studios casting performers from online video websites. However, while the trend is no longer new, the number of casting choices are still interesting to follow.

 Jet Set Men has been one of the notable studios that seems to be doing the most "recruiting" from online video sites and in doing so has accomplished two things. One, it has increased the buzz about Jet Set Men (not that it was an also ran among the studios) and increased the traffic at the online sites from where these "new" actors had appeared. Jet Set Men had recent blog entries about its newest flicks Muscle Mountain and SLIDE both of which recently completed production and will be released later this year. Together these two films have arguably got the most performers and connections to online video sites yet.

 Both Jet Set Men productions seemingly aim to compete with similar videos from other major studios. SLIDE was filmed in HD and is an all-sex (meaning plot-free) video that takes place in an exotic poolside setting which has proven a winning setting for many other videos. Muscle Mountain was filmed it in HD and at a rugged desert/mountain location with a story involving rival ranchers and sexy cowboys. Yes, the similarity to other "Titan-ic" and "Raging" videos recently released or in production is not lost on us---nor is it probably going unnoticed by the other studios. But, as we've seen in the past in male erotic flicks (and in mainstream films) the idea of competing movies with similar things only helps draw attention---and comparison.

  Naturally there are a few Jet Set Men performers in these two upcoming videos who don't seem to come from online video sites, but if we've missed a few we know we'll be hearing from a few of you with eagle eyes.

  SLIDE was intended to feature new and upcoming stars but the line-up is almost entirely made of up online performers. Jason Pitt and Derec Stone are the exceptions, but we did find Stone at California Muscle, the online modeling agency we mentioned a few days ago when looking up Falcon Str8 Men newcomer Ty Colt.

  Derrick Vinyard. True, Vinyard started out doing studio stuff awhile ago but recently he's been seen at Cocky Boys (where he filmed his last scene before supposedly retiring).

  David Dakota. He's now an exclusive here but regular readers of our blog know his history. He went from Guy #2 in the 20th Sean Cody "Auditions" then showed up at Chaos Men as Holt before doing Trunks 5 for Hot House & On the Hunt (where he had a real encounters filmed) He's hot several films ready to be released here at Jet Set Men.

  Rusty Stevens. You're probably not too surprised to see him here after so many appearances in the past couple months. But here are his appearances yet again:

   Now the question that remains is when is an all-internet cast video due?
